I think you need to pay a poor intern to go through all the factory presets and make sure the Ctrl knobs with assignments are all named. Many are not.
I love the new UI. Vast improvement.

Thank you very much. I'll investigate!johnnyberrygoode wrote: Thu Apr 09, 2026 2:33 pmI understand that you are fixing problems in zebra, so I will send you everything that I have discovered.u-he Basti wrote: Thu Apr 09, 2026 12:30 pmOh yes. 1. I think that if the "target circle" in the lfo module is moved to the left, as it is done in other modulation modules, it will give more symmetry.
2. Based on the logic of the grid formation in the filter matrix, it seemed to me that this line is not needed.
And Done! Cheers!

I've put it on my list of things. Thank you =)Fannon wrote: Fri Apr 10, 2026 9:30 pm Here is one instance, where contrast is really not great: black font on dark grey background if you disable the module. Doesn't happen often so it's not a big deal, just wanted to point it out.

Hm, in a 96 khz Bitwig project I can barely run 2 at once on a Macbook Pro M1 depending on patch. Better than Diva though.djdaxy wrote: Fri Apr 10, 2026 11:02 pm 10 instances jaming out techno patches from scratch all playing at once on my ryzen7 think pad @27%cpu good for this laptop havent used the built in presets yet tho![]()

Yes, a mishap that we'll fix shortly. The presets were accidentally converted wrongly from the old "Reallocate" to the new "Voice Allocation" parameter set. This has been corrected and will be part of the next build.jasperdunn wrote: Fri Apr 10, 2026 11:47 pm Loving all the new presets, however it seems that many polyphonic presets are set as Voice Alloc. = Continue when I think they should be set to Iterate. Did the default change and it not update or something?

I just installed this beta.
I won't comment about how i feel about it aesthetically, but what i will say is that it seems a bit too dark and low contrast?
Some tweaking in that department would make it a lot easier to read i think.
I kind of need to strain my eyes to read most things.

Please don't go too far. There is one more thing! In the OSC editor, the "curve spectrum" and "curve geometry" logos in OSC 1 and OSC 2-4 are positioned completely differently.u-he Basti wrote: Sat Apr 11, 2026 7:19 amThank you very much. All oscillators in the generator rack have the same arrangement of these logos as the first oscillator in editor mode, while oscillator 2-4 (in editor mode) have a completely different arrangement.
Thanks for your attention.

Is there a way to save and/or load custom MSEGs and Mappers? Right now I can't seem to find a drop-down Save or Load menu of any kind in the MSEG dept.

In the utility module, in signal mode, the line seems to be a little long, and in meter mode, a slight gluing between the lines is visible.u-he Basti wrote: Sat Apr 11, 2026 7:19 amThank you very much. Hey everyone,
I just discovered the mouseover function on the modulator icons (“cross” and “wave”) as a kind of target finder — really elegant and super useful!
That said, I’m a bit confused about the meaning of those icons. Why are some shown as a cross and others as a wave? I initially assumed the cross meant “not in use,” like what you see at the bottom for MSEG and Mapper.
For example, in the preset “Class of 79,” Envelope 1 and Envelope 2 both show a cross, but they are clearly modulating parameters. That threw me off a bit.
Also, when I use an MSEG to modulate something, its icon still stays as a cross. So how can you tell at a glance whether a modulator is actually in use?
Am I missing something here?
Thanks!
....
After multiple tries, I think I understand the problem in the case of MSEG : the icon is not updated directly but only when you focus on another element.

Those of us who have Zebra2, how can we upgrade to Zebra3 with that discount?
I just checked u-he and Zebra is already available in Legacy format... and it's only been 3 days...

No interns currently... but like everything, we'll do this over time. I have a hunch that we'll see another update towards the end of the year, with some features included that didn't make it, and then possibly all Ctrl knobs properly labelled.teilo wrote: Sat Apr 11, 2026 3:29 am I think you need to pay a poor intern to go through all the factory presets and make sure the Ctrl knobs with assignments are all named. "Zebra 3" is a separate product. It does not include "Zebra Legacy".
There is an upgrade path to Zebra 3 for those who paid the old price of up to 600€ on Zebra 2 + separate soundsets *before* Zebra Legacy was released, but there is no upgrade path for people who have spent the bargain price of 99€ on Zebra Legacy with all soundsets Included.
We may offer bundles and specials in the future, but at the moment we have no plans or resources to do so.

RE -> Oscillator layout in editor mode: We decided to move the entire tiny spline editor and scope related blocks from the bottom bar into the actual editor window. That way all controls are in a useful distance to each other.
Cheers!
