Still waiting the "no tab" GUI. Please put at least the OSC and Filter sections in same page (most used one). It is just endless unnecessary clicking from tab to tab atm. I just can't stand that. It kills the flow. It is frustrating.
I still think that Viper is best sounding vst (Really good work here, Adam) we have. I really want to buy it, so, please, make "one page GUI", and double the voices to 256 and you have a new customer. That's a promise.

Both pages have a considerable amount of controls, they aren't "chilling apart aimlessly".keel wrote: Sun Sep 04, 2022 8:47 pm Still waiting the "no tab" GUI. Perhaps that's why it was done like that in the Virus TI control plugin in the first place
upd: idea for Adam! Even more tabs!
May be the "simple control" page from Virus TI would make sense, with a half-dozen osc and filter controls, and some virus-ish macro knobs (there are 3 on my snow)

I solved a problem I seem to have every time I buy a new computer and I thought I would share the solution in case anyone else ever comes across it.
Studio One doesn't seem to like Adam's plugins. I install them but they don't show up in the browser. If I check the Plugin Manager, they are not blacklisted, they are simply not there at all. I tried every trick I could think of, plus a couple of others that Adam and Presonus suggested, but it turns out that, for some weird reason, Studio One doesn't like it when there are brackets in the file name. All I had to do was change the names of the plugin files to JP6K.dll and Viper.dll and they started showing up.
I should say, too, that both Adam and Presonus were excellent at helping me with the problem. They both responded so quickly, it was more like chat sessions than exchanges of email.

Very strange because it's been a problem for me since I moved to Studio One, across four different computers from two different brands, on both Win10 and Win11.

Move on to another product and your frustration is over.
Sounds like blackmail under "please" disguise. If you want to buy it then you buy it.keel wrote: Sun Sep 04, 2022 8:47 pm I really want to buy it, so, please, make "one page GUI", and double the voices to 256 and you have a new customer. That's a promise.
Imagine what would this product become whenever he decides to implement every feature request from every internet nobody from KVR just to get his money. Absurd.
It's another way around. You either adapt to a certain product and its vision or you move on.
Certainly, your 89 EUR which is shaved by the monthly regular TAX rate, and then wage tax at the end of the year is most likely not worth the trouble for a developer to please you.
Then, in the end, GUI is just fine for his customers, product lives so you are one against many. Just move on.
