gunark wrote: Fri Sep 27, 2019 10:55 am Hi Uncle E - do the Reason 11 upgrades that say for ANY version mean they can be used to upgrade for Lite?
While I can't speak for Uncle E, there is a separate "Upgrade from Intro/Lite" product

Initially Sweetwater had a statement "buy Reason 10 Intro now and get a free upgrade to Reason 11" so I contacted PropellerHead and the response was "this information is incorrect and misleading so I've reported it to our USA sales manager - it looks like someone's copied the wrong description from the sales sheet."

So I'm "guessing" the answer is no.
Thanks - I did see that actually. However I have 10 Lite (and Europa if that matters) and when I log in to the Reason site I get the £119/£229 upgrade offer, i.e. the same as standard Reason owners, so was just hoping to save a few ££.

EDIT: Nevermind, it's stopped offering it to me. Ah well.

I'm trying to remember which 2 iZotope plugins you get to keep after you try the demo? Was it something in/from Neutron 3?

D.Wako wrote: Tue Sep 24, 2019 7:55 am Anyone tried the Free Big Bang Orchestra by VSL? Was a bit underwhelm considering i had to download their player, put in dongle to authorize etc... I don't know.
It is a nice freebie. Fun to play with.
Yea i looked at it again after my post and realized it was better than i 1st thought.
Against all reason this made me buy an eLicenser. Probably this was VSL's goal for this "freebie" (which this way actually is about 20€) after all...

EDIT: Guess what, since I'm running a relatively new computer I need a USB-C to USB-A adapter just for the licenser...
This is my basic question, is the freebie worth the cost of buying the dongle? Conversely (for me in the US), is this library worth $37 for the dongle and delivery fee?
37$ for the dongle is a bit steep. You do realize you can use any eLicenser, right? No need to order their Vienna key and get it shipped from Austria.

About the library: Amazing sound, reminds me straight of the huge Skyfall arrangement (the Adele Bond song), but offers a little few velocity layers. E.g. it's hard to get from "no horns" to "middle loud" horns before you reach "super loud horns". Still, it's a lot of fun to play with a full orchestra, especially if you add octaves! :hihi:
Any eLicenser, as in iLok License Manager as well?

Really? I'm getting an error message saying that I don't have a compatible product.

Edit: I got Studio One Prime for free first and then it worked.

FAO Uncle E, if I look to buy the downloadable Reason 11 Suite upgrade for $221 (using the forum code), as a UK buyer I presume I will I get clobbered with 20% VAT on top? Still appears to work out around £216 which is lower than £229 direct from Reason Studios.
Andertons sell it for £219, but annoyingly only as a physical box with a code in it that you have to wait in to get delivered.

Are you safe?
