Hardly amazing. It's not a matter of having a clue. It's just that nobody cares.

Tomorrow's lesson, the sequel to "Everyone Likes to Say 'Irony' But Who Knows What it Really Means?" will be "Satire, Parody, Sarcasm, Sardony... Which is Which? And Does it Matter?"

Hmmmm. It's just interesting, there are plenty of critics for ampsims, yet when you challenge the so-called experts they suddenly go quiet (or get shitty).... LOL

It's not a very good recording, so it's tough to gauge. It could really be any amp with a somewhat not-so-great setup. If I were to take a wild guess, it kind of reminds me of Guitar Rig's Plexi model. It's not the easiest thing to listen to, though, especially with the clipping at 0:14. Am I close?

I listened, dogod, but it was just really bad. It could've been almost any of thousands of generic amps or amp sims. If it was an amp, the recording technique was poor. If it was a sim, you needed to spend more time on the patch and use fewer effects to spoof a "live" feeling.

I'm guessing, Peavey Bandit with a Cort strat copy.

dogod, I allready told you, but here it is again: I usually don't even go into "guess how this great sound was done" mode. Why the f**k should I care about "guess how this bad sound was done" then?

If it was a nice sound, played properly, I'd probably ask how it was done (did you see me asking?), but I would still not muck around with any guesses.

Btw, regarding Cort guitars: Some of them are the best bang for the buck you can get these days. The Hiram Bullock signature model is really excellent (at least the one I tried was).
