Do you think you can reproduce the pizzicato sounds
from the songs Insomnia and Encore Une Fois?

I'm looking for the leadsound of the Vangelis song "To the Unknown man".
It's a great layered sound. Some pulse sound and a bass sound.
Also there seems to be a slow lfo on it.

I hope someone can make a close reproduction of that sound in Sylenth.

Another sound I'd like to have is the famous Laserharp sound.
Jean-Michel Jarre uses it a lot.
I do have the original Elka Synthex parameters so maybe someone can reproduce this sound in Sylenth:

osc1 puls 50% 8'
osc2 osc1 PWM / ring mod 2'
osc 2 sync
glide on osc 2
Little bit of lfo on pw2
chorus setting 1
Filter ADSR: 0 0 2 8
VCA ADSR: 5 7 4 8
I don't know the filter/resonance settings unfortunately.

That pizzicato sound from insomnia and encore une fois is a preset sound from the Roland JD-990. The JD-990 is a rompler and the sounds are based on sampled waveforms. I don't think it will be possible to make that sound with subtractive synthesis.

I know i have a JD990..

the above mp3 demo is a preset from Sylenth 1,only the drumloop is external but the Pizzicato you hear is Sylenth.

Thought i'd post this in this preset-sharing topic.

Mini-Soundbank for Lennardigitals Sylenth v1 2.2 and higher.
including 43 presets, mainly for Trance/house use.
7 of which, i've made for my own productions, labeled as "PATCH - name"
FLP file is for FL studio 9 and higher, showcasing some of the presets with midilines.
No outside effects were used in the preview mp3,
only kick and a simple drumloop, which are Not included in the FLP.

Arguably some of the presets in the bank have been done with inspiration got from other commercial banks.

Lennard, here's a challenge for you (or maybe even not)
Can Sylenth reproduce the arp-type sound in this track at 1:30 in to the clip?

It sounds like it's on an lfo of maybe light flanging or something, but it seems to have a very accentuated pluck to it as well... Any ideas?

You could have given credit at least to the original people who made it. For example the patch LD - Tocame, is exacly my patch called CHRD - Miracle, you just lowered the osc by one octave and lowered the volume sustain and release. Thats it.

But do you think its a good idea to compile sounds from commercial products then add a few of your own, and upload it on the net?

Ummet Ozcan has made a new kick ass song named New Phase. Would be awesome if someone could make the lead synth for that song. I have made the midi for the lead, and included it with a sample in this zip.
