VOX being a property of Korg, Korg having announced last year an intention to enhance his choice in VST products in the Legacy collection, and Combo Model V being a huge success... I suspect pressures from Korg.

Also there is that new plugin from Arturia... Maybe Model V fell under threats of legal action from them.

Conspiracy theory of the day: maybe this IS the new Arturia Vox plugin. Buy it out, slap a fancy GUI and add effects, then repackage it as a new plugin. Unlikely but not impossible.

I doubt either Korg or anyone else would have a leg to stand on when it comes to an organ inspired plugin (unless the UI was too close to the original design if trademarked). I'm more inclined to believe that it's something much more innocent until I have reason to believe otherwise.

In general I don't like a lot the Arturia VSTs (simply because of the dongle). And I liked a lot the Combo Model V for its awesome quality... but there is one thing that everybody can appreciate from Arturia, it is that they are known to ask rights to the owning companies before creating emulations. So maybe Arturia has asked for it to Korg, and got it... and if Martini didn't do it he fell under threats from Korg or from Arturia. All is possible in a world of sharks.

Maybe I'm wrong, but it's not impossible. It has been seen yet in many domains in marketing when a product may put another in the shade (regardless the price of both)... And when you have not a huge amount of money to pay an advocate to face a overpowerful international company... you prefer to abandon immediately.

For me this page http://www.martinic.com/combov/downloads/ works fine with the download links being operational.
It just says that the product is being discontinued or similar...

That could confirm my fears.
Because it is very sudden for a product which had so much success... and just after a new update.

Maybe nothing has been deleted there. It's just being a redirect from the ComboV page to the ComboF page being in effect.

We've yet to see a statement from the ComboV creator Tale. Let's see how things evolve here.
