Yes. It was cool & nice IMHO to have the slider function the opposite direction in 1.0 for the Hi-Shelf Damping filter since the curve was directly below it and moved in the same direction...

but now with 1.0 we offer 4 different filter options and it would be confusing to flip the slider direction depending on the selected filter type. So now all sliders work in the same direction: left is min value, right is max value...

It might take a few days/weeks to get used to if you spent a lot of time with 1.0, but I think you will get used to it and eventually agree it makes more sense this way...

We thought about it yes. The concern is that offering it would undo the perception of it being light on the CPU. Of course logically if we offer an OPTION to ELECT to use OS, as we do with Aether, this has no effect whatsoever on CPU usage when the option is not elected... but our experience is that people seem to forget this and just "turn it to 11" and then wonder why CPU usage is higher than the competition. So we elected not to include it in Breeze.

We may change our position on this at some point in the future in a future update. I would be interested to see who else is interested in it?

Feel free to discuss here...
I hope you do change your opinion. My suggestion would be to have no oversampling by default then, when switching to oversampling on, have a message pop up that says "the use of oversampling will... blah blah blah" (click here to prevent this message from appearing again). This would make it pretty blatant for the user.

Most apps sound fine without it and breeze does sound good, but Aether presents a noticeable improvement in quality with oversampling on and I would think breeze would as well. What's wrong with that?

Hello to all fellows.

I just wanted to say that I finally uploaded new 33 presets for Breeze like simulations from 480L and PCM native that match 99%.

The same link from above:

I haven't used Aether since I got Breeze. Sounds great!

Me too. But I finally found really nice position in the space just like on very expensive hardware processors.
I just updated the folders again and this is final.

Two folders are here click on the link to download.

Hi Den

Is your last post there for Aether or Breeze? The downloaded zips are 'Aether New Halls' and 'Aether simulations 2011'. Also, do these files supersede your prevous 480L and PCM simulations 'New Den's Custom Presets.zip'?

Outstanding stuff - hopefully for Breeze ;)

Thanks,
Colin
