So, is it still going to be the old post-your-votes-in-the-thread way, or does the "secret voting" thing apply? I'd sill like to see what other people liked, perhaps at the end of the voting session or something. Will get the voting thread up soon.

Hey guys, since OSC24 I've been a "late night" uploader in the contest. Basically it's due to bad time management skills (thanks school / college experience
).
Going to make an attempt next time to finish before the 15th. Sorry for the confusion, and have a great day. So many great tunes, looking forward to hearing, and learning new techniques.

Voting is now opened, go here: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=383540
All songs can now also be downloaded as mp3's in one zip file or as torrent. (Torrent is fastest at almost uncapped speed even if no other users are seeding so recommend that)

Cheers for sharing the presets and project file BJ.
And another welcome to all newcomers, nice to see so many new people taking part, hope you will join for coming competitions. In case you missed it, there's also a OSC general discussion forum thread if you have any ideas or suggestions etc.

There will only be the final scores this time, which with the secret voting system should hopefully give an even more honest list than before.Kondarivan wrote:Good luck everyone!

Will there be a KVR OSC 52 bank for Podolski released as someone suggest it earlier in the thread ? I'd like to share my presets too (well the ones that can be played alone and are not part of some layering or other tricks).

I had some nice comments about the sounds I used, so for anyone who is interested, here are the arpeggiator patches I created for my OSC entry "Artoo Detoo! It's you!". The patches are in .h2p format.

I am a bit confused about the rule
Did I misunderstand this rule?
What does it exactly mean? As I understand, it means, that multiple instances that play at the mean time to sound as one instrument, are forbidden. Once, I had sounds played by multiple instances, just like cycloscope did in his track - until I read this rule. So I changed the sounds into something that was legal (in my comprehension).Unless specifically announced before the competition, you must use only one virtual synthesizer for all sounds including percussion.

There have been a few OSCs that weren't only one synth, I interpret it to mean you just can't use any other sound generators. I frequently stack instances to make sounds... my tracks would suck without that!Carl_saved wrote:I am a bit confused about the rule

Thx for your answer. I would like this issue to be cleared by s.o. of the chiefs of the OSC (in the formulation of the rules). If you are right, it will be annoying for me, because the earlier sounds were better, of course.
But for next OSCs, ok, then.
