First impressions...
sounds good with no effort
highs clean and sweet
solid low end
drag-n-drop modulations are freakin great!
the all in one interface along with d-n-d mods makes it very fast to create sounds.
copy/paste between modules yes!
module presets... very nice
this is one agile synth!

couple quick noodlings as I learn...

ohh i see, well you know we are always going crazy, when you & your team release something new.Urs wrote:We've seeded almost-a-beta to our closed beta team. This is necessary because we rather contain serious bugs (10+ left) or flaws with a few dozen people than with a few thousand. We'll go for public testing as soon as we're convinced that the sound won't change, i.e. that a preset saved with a song/project will recall exactly as it was made when the final version comes out.hyperconnectedspace wrote:where are all these sound examples coming from?![]()
le me want to try too![]()
take your time
the clips posted here are impressive. wish you all good luck with finding the 10+ bugs.

That's a feature that I wish more synths would have.pdxindy wrote: module presets... very nice

Square waves and a small amount of the distortion module make for some wonderful plucky and crisp lead sounds. This time I tried working with the "Dirty" mode for all instances of Hive
2 instances of HIve (one the bass, one the bell-pluck), no external FX: https://app.box.com/s/6hfps909j3ag975dd8vj
I swear the synth makes me do these kinds of sounds. It craves to be fed arpeggiated notes at 134-140bpm.
(it sounds even better as a wav file, the MP3 crushes a bit of the high end IMO)

maybe consider assigning your priorities to creating sound-demos as opposed to betatesting

hmm, I noticed this as the GUI got revealed: what is a "stoned" phaser?
I personally would rather not associate an otherwise professional synthesizer with the sins of my youth.
