Sure, I like the fact it is a "compact synth" at a first view, but if you want more (modulations, etc...) you have to dive into the OS display and "discover" its secrets, ehehegbert101 wrote:It's a pretty simple synth, so the interface is not too problematic. Sounds fantastic though.

Thanks KYLIE for your appreciation. Yes, I am working on some awesome pack, and sorry for this PLUS withdrawal, just thought it is time for a next gem to appear, and since v.3 seems to be 200% of 2,x soundwise, I hope my pack with meet your expectations.kylie wrote:may I humbly ask what happened to the PLUS pack? will this be upgraded to work with LO3 ? and, yes, I like freeguresVocel wrote:Is it the right place to recommend a brand new FREE bank for LittleOne v3? Downloaded the demo, but the procedure is a bit unconventional to put it mildly.
- why put all versions into a single download?
- why that manual copying of stuff?
- what happens if I don't use the paths stated in your instruction guide? (I have my own VST folder)

1- the "whole" package is 20 MB in size. The download requires exactly 3.48 seconds. Mac and Win plugins don't fight when placed in the same package
2- it seems to me the most transparent procedure (ususally it is a very frequently asked feature). You know exactly what you are installing. Updating the product will be done in a matter of seconds. It 100% avoids any kind of incompatibility, bad installers/uninstallers. It really requires a few seconds to be completed.
3- Your CPU will implode ! Or was that a beta feature ?
But the library files MUST be placed in the folders described in the tutorial. Mandatory.

No, even that is not really mandatory. There is a trick. Using a SSD device as C: I have a 2.5" disk only as D: unit and everything is on D: (even the applications as soon as they are not system apps).xhunaudio wrote:But the library files MUST be placed in the folders described in the tutorial. When something MUST (by impossibility to choose in the installer) be in a directory somewhere in the C: unit, I let the installer go to the end as it must be... then I simply move to D: all the things I want to have on D: and in the original directory I simply put a symbolic link using Link Shell Extension. It's been more than 15 years that I do that way, and I have never had any issue. And for LittleOne as for any other thing, it works perfect. Result: I have everything on my physical 2.5" D: unit (even the folders Documents, Music, Video, Pictures, etc. and even the folder Desktop, the folder Temp, etc. which incidentally can be moved by their properties (and see here for Temp) even without Link Shell Extension) and there is almost nothing (only the original Windows System files) on my very small SSD C: unit.

@BlackWinny
Ahh ok, I was talking about *regular* installations
On macOS seems to be possible too, but I never took that way...
@fluffy_little_something
After installation, is the demo version working for you? If not, just message or email me.

It sounds truly impressive, soundwise pretty much the best soft synth I have tried so far
The resonance and filter in general sound very pleasant.
The effects are also great.
Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to increase the small GUI. Actually, it is not really that small (it occupies about 1 quarter of my screen, as opposed to Sylenth1, which occupies about 90%), but so much space has been wasted on the giant keyboard and wheels, while I can't read the display and labels, except for the big section headers.
Another thing I noticed is that visually the knobs don't work continuously, while the values seem to change in the background, until the next threshold for a visual knob change is reached.

Obviously to load Big Steps expansion presets you have to buy it firstfluffy_little_something wrote: The expansion patches don't load, though.
Bonus Pack expansion is free instead, and it loads correctly too, but be sure to copy the "BonusPackExpansion" folder NEAR (in the same path as you'll find) the "Factory" folder
Glad you like it !fluffy_little_something wrote: It sounds truly impressive, soundwise pretty much the best soft synth I have tried so far![]()

A 200% GUI size is coming.fluffy_little_something wrote: Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to increase the small GUI. Sorry fls, I didn't understand the "knobs don't work continuously... visual knob change is reached" part...

In my understanding he's saying that the knob has - for example - 10 positions, while the control value has 100 - and You need to change the actual value more than 10 (probably) for the knob to rotate by one step.xhunaudio wrote:Sorry fls, I didn't understand the "knobs don't work continuously... visual knob change is reached" part...
Something like that, I think.

Maybe 200% is too big, if that refers to the height and width rather than the area
What I mean is that when I drag a control with the mouse or use the mouse wheel to change the value, the value is being changed inside (I can see it on Mulab's own value readout), but the knob seems to remain in the same position, until I have changed the value so much that the knob jumps to the next position.
However, I just noticed with the help of a magnifying glass, that the light indicator ring is composed of just a number of segments, hence the jumping effect. The reason for that is that the knobs are so small I don't see the tiny indicator on them without the magnifying glass, so the knobs look static.

Knobs values are ultra-smooth. Knobs rotation is ultra-smooth. The GUI only has the same led-based look as the original hardware.fluffy_little_something wrote:Maybe 200% is too big, if that refers to the height and width rather than the area![]()

Come on, if you can't see the leds/GUI knobs you probably are running your DAW in an 8k, 5 inches smartphone prototype from the future...

I can see the knobs, but not the tiny arrow markers on them. I only detected them with the magnifying glass. And when you don't see those markers, it looks as if the knobs jumped from LED segment to LED segment

What resolution and screen size (inches)?
