Device panel sharing thread (Bitwig remote controls for devices)

Good I'm glad I didn't miss some existing mapping! They are saved per device as my default preset - this way when I load the plugin the panel is automatically opened up for me. I tend to only use them individually and use Bitwig's splitters for processing over the kHs solution. I don't see a way to get plugin parameters to show up as assignable with Multipass but I haven't spent much time poking around in it.
I also recommend saving a default preset as a best practice so you can drag and drop your preset within the folder into Bitwig to confirm the device you are working with.
BTW, what is the assignable shortcut name in Bitwig to quickly hide / unhide the device panel area? I can't seem to find it.

Updated ACE device map as the old one no longer worked properly since the last ACE update - only install this if you have the latest version.

I finally added all of these (for the plugins I have) into my settings so next I'll be doing the ones that haven't been done yet. I'm surprised to see there isn't one for FM8 and Massive as those default ones have almost no controls. AM I missing those somewhere?
Also, I'm thinking about how to do some defaults for Reaktor and Komplete Kontrol instruments. Obviously default device controls won't work since they have to be different for the same plugin but different presets, so I guess just saving presets is the way to go. I see there are a few reaktor ensembles in some download links of this thread, but I like to save reaktor ensembles as komplete kontrol presets since then you also have the kk controls, so I may work on some of them. But I wanted to check to see if that's been done yet. It's brutal that Komplete Kontrol can't just be saved as a single default with the macros being in a predictable order but they change for each plugin so it needs to be different presets per plugin inside KK.

I was wondering why the folders are named inscrutably with a random number, rather than the name of the VST?

They are the VST IDs instead of the name. Not random. You can have multiple of the same name in your VST list but the IDs are unique.optimystery wrote: Mon Feb 03, 2020 7:20 pm Thanks for all the efforts posted here!

I guess the VST3 versions don't benefit from these remote controls files unless they were specifically saved as vst3 version. Is there any way to transfer a vst2 mapping to its vst3 equivalent? That would be nice.

I wish, just had to redo the Surge one, they have different IDs so guess not (if anyone knows differently please let me know, would save a lot of work)Echoes in the Attic wrote: Fri May 15, 2020 2:02 pm I guess the VST3 versions don't benefit from these remote controls files unless they were specifically saved as vst3 version.
