Thanks in advance and I am very happy about Granulizer 2 otherwise. I will create a lot of own templates myself for sure

I too have problems with downloading the Friction templates. Its stuck at 75 % for 4 Hours. I tried it since some time. What can I do about it?

It's an issue with some users on Windows mostly, we're going to address it in a future update.
Really glad you're enjoying it, feel free to reach out to us for any further assistance. We're also interested to hear what awesome sounds you create with it!

One can click and drag over a part of a sample to select a smaller part of the sample to play. I wish the parameters for such selections were available so I could automate them. Then I thought it would be cool to have a sequencer that allowed the sample selection to jump around at some rate (DAW sync and/or in ms). Maybe there are some neat parameters that could be controlled for this.
Or then I wonder if it could detect transients so that with a drum loop, for example, the sample selection would always jump to a drum sound and not some silent spot between the drum sounds.
I was fooling around with a base loop that had several different notes in it and different timbres at different spots, and I was manually moving the sample selection. I thought, this being automatable would be damn cool--for neat rhythmic things and even for pad/drone/ambient sounds (might need a smoothing function to avoid clicks?).

Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

As also being one of those, who is collecting Granulizers like others are picking up their new favorite saturation Plugs... Why isnt there more Buzz about this one; as even having Fragments, Novum or Pathways, this still has a special Place after all these Years.
You can be creative in any right place on Earth, and not only in the wealthiest cities. Bring the world feelings from everywhere, and not only feelings of capitalistic or jail environment.

+1 ^^^
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

fully agree, also owning the 3 you mention, and more... as a granular addict...El°HYM wrote: Sat Jul 16, 2022 10:15 am As also being one of those, who is collecting Granulizers like others are picking up their new favorite saturation Plugs... Granulizer 2 has its special place, i repeat.
EDIT: remember an exploration, Granulizer 2, with sends, that add some textures... (Silo & Specops)

thanks! Granulizer 2 has some great stuff built in, i must dive again in this project. perhaps make a variant. o well..
Granulizer 2 is used as only 'synth', of course in other projects, it has a place.
but it is always great to make some tracks, with 1 or 2 synths... the capabilities are extensive...

i had to look up Instinct... well... i can't remember all plugins that exist... i don't have Instinct... (and disclaimer: not because it is a great plugin, too much overlap...)
in the case above, the Wreck, i used SpecOps, which destroy 'signals', in another way, or destroy, shifts....
and Silo.... Silo and Fragments are great, not only, for making rythms out of the synths you use, in the Wreck i didn't use it that way. but i use Silo and Fragments, for creating rythms. as sends...
creating rythms, especially with Silo, was and still is, some kind of 'signature' way, how i make tracks, but i think it used also by others.... that way...
it has something to use one track in a project, derive with granular effects, a lot of new sounds; rythms, etc. etc.
Crusher-X is also very capable of creating rythms, but it takes more time, and they are more complex.
well, this is the Granulizer 2 thread. but i think, i see here on KVR many granular-heads (? is that a term). me like to make sounds with granulars, that i made for instance with a soft modular, and use the granular, again via another type of granular.... not always.. but still.... it has its quirks, but Granulizer 2 is pretty capable of taking granular source to next level, for instance.
it is fun to jump around....
Granulizer 2 + sends to: Fragments + Instinct... i want to hear it....

I have dabbled around with it a few Times, yet somehow could never really figure out what it does, in due to the Demo - Limitations which seemed a little bit too short to really dig much deeper into it. It does sound good though, in a digital kind of way, also in a Inertia kind of way.

Would be useful if updates and changes were dated and documented on the website so I can keep track of them
