Upgrade cost is 199€, as he said. What I'm not clear on is whether spsati owns AT1 already, or is planning to buy it. If the latter, better jump fast! I don't know whether there are any copies left of AT1 with the free upgrade to AT2. If there are, they probably won't last long.

One of the local music stores is still selling AT1 for $429. I almost choked! Meanwhile, they restocked their WarpVST, which seemed to have been selling well for $35. <laff> Remember when Warp used to be $300?

Does the upgrade version differ from the full one? Or the only difference is the price?

I can't say this with 100% certainty, but I would say both the upgrade and the full release will be precisely the same product.....I figure otherwise it would be the end for IK...

IK's other upgrade/crossgrades only require that you have registered a qualifying product for it to work. The only difference, from what I've been told before is the sku on the box (well, maybe the license key too.)

.. oh my, i'm getting hotter and hotter for AT2. today i tried to make a guitarsound sounding similar to that solo-guitar in Glen Campbells "galveston", and after some minutes of tweaking i sat there and thought "wow, thats close!" ..

i also tried to achive it with GR2, but failed. it just did lack the character.

it just has this character i really dig, this Amplitube. i hope AT2 will have it as well ..

putte, when/if you do get AT2, we want a nice review from your part

You seem to like AT1, although I don't. I find it sound muddy and unclear. GR2 demo sounded better to me ( used in HQ mode ) on high gain solo type sounds.
