Re: PA sub to own.
It says you get the voucher right away and can cancel anytime? Is this for real?
Does the voucher follow in their recent path of requiring a certain dollar amount?

According to Dirk on Facebook, there will not be any minimum requirements for using this particular single use voucher.nathanj wrote: Thu Feb 13, 2020 7:51 pm Re: PA sub to own.

The voucher can only be used once and any unused value disappears. So, in any practical sense, you are going to want to buy $250-worth of plugins in that one hit unless there's something you really, really want and only that.

I read on Gearslutz that apparently the voucher can be sold second hand, that'll open up some fishy doors.
Edit: just went on Buy Sell and selling of the voucher has started. This ends up being a win win for customers but dont imagine PA would be happy with this loop of buying and selling outside of their pockets.

Apparently, it's OK.
Can I sell my voucher or gift it to somebody?
Yes! You may pass on or even sell this voucher to somebody else. Please note that the voucher can only be used 1x, so you can only give it to one person.

So basically they need money now. In exchange they will give you a voucher that you can use once that hopefully will either total more than the amount you are spending OR will require you to spend more. Either way, they get $249 from you now. And then either breakeven or make a little extra. Oh, and you get to use all their plugins for free for a year. Or $249 less whatever you sell the voucher for.
Then the question is, do they automatically renew next year?
