There is no deadline, all additions accepted, though anything included in the main install will have to be before the 24th.

Also the filename timestamp is an hour out on my pc showing as 11:02 rather 12:02.
well the record bars uses the sequence for determining the length of the bar (you select which slot on the sequencer page). But if it is set to OFF on the Master Options instead of a bar length then it should just record whenever. I'll look into it today though as I think there may be a problem with switching modes.

Great on the other issue, glad I don't have to worry about that one :)

thanks Steve!

Probably due to the limiter? you can disable it in the Master settings though not recommended!
Az're-ul wrote: Behaviour for increasing numbers of bars seems the wrong way round to me, pressing the up switch lowers the number of bars but I get that with lots of VSTI's

Something for someone else to confirm, altering the filter cascade setting can cause a massive CPU spike in EXT2 & Live 6 and disables the host's sound but is fine in EXT1  Could be my ASIO driver of course.
lol yep I think it depends on how your brain is wired, to me you see it is navigating the list up and down the options, so the lowest value in the list should be at the bottom.

I'll look into the cascade, I think this is an issue. I thought I fixed it long ago but perhaps not.

thanks again feller!

That was my first thought but didn't seem to make that much difference. I was just trying to get a clipped loop

Definitely the way my brain is wired then, if I see an up arrow I expect the value to increase - I was demoing something the other day and it was doing my head in when I kept going back to the first preset :tantrum:  Give me left & right arrows any day.

The cascade is weird because it doesn't happen in all my hosts. In EXT1 it doesn't even cause the cpu spike.

Just read throught the manual, do you want any corrections? You may want to change Fruity Loops to FL Studio to avoid any fanbwoi-isms :hihi: Also its an LCD screen not LED.

Don't know how much time I'll get today but tomorrow should be free for a few hours at least.

hehe yep - writing manuals is an equivalent to torture for me. Any improvements highly appreciated!

I've just fixed the Cascade for the next version.

I'm looking into the Record problems now, I actually have a feeling that there is a separate limiter on the Record out actually that is fixed. Why would you want to overload it? :)

In terms of brains have a look at this:

I just jumped on board with the Beta purchase. I'm looking for a manual. Is there one available for download somewhere.

Thanks
Billy

Hi Bill

The manual is online at the moment at:

http://www.hgsounds.com/bm/index.html

there is also a hlp version, but it might not be in the current release, but will be in the next which I shall be releasing possibly today :)

hope you are liking it so far?

take care
Andy

Yes, I just loaded it in Cubase 4. I sort of geet it, but reading the manual will help me pick it up quicker. Definitely looks like it's going to be a lot of fun!

Okay I can make her spin either way at will, does that mean I don't use my brain at all?

Me too! Once I got passed the nipple, I realized I saw her spinning both ways.

Me too, apparently it means we are all doomed & destined for a future of confusion

Ok Here's beta 19 I think I covered everything:

beta 19

* Fixed Section Randomizers on Section LCD
* Fixed some buttons losing setting n Mod Sequencer
* FX On/Off now bypasses Compressor
* Reverb now replaced by SoundScaper on the labelling
* Cascade caused audio blowout on some filters - fixed.
* Recorder Open Folder button now is triggered
* Fixed timestamp to allow for British summertime
* Record Bars are only for use when the internal sequencers are running, for all other situations manual record must be used. Midi Note C5 can be used to trigger via midi.
* (request) Added Velocity Global Enable - This will switch all velocity knobs off and the full velocity range is then available regardless of the knob values. Useful when using as a standard drum machine. This is a global setting and not stored with patches.
* Presets finished x 256
* Velocity lowered on all presets to make Standard Midi Mode more responsive.

Okay that sounds about right. I don't see any reason that looking at a spinning naked chick should suddenly change how my life has been going anyway.

I just like my sounds lo-fi/no-fi sound. As the saying goes "a bit of dirt never hurt anyone"* and there are too many pristine sounds in this world already

Dry loop

Blown loop

Blown sound is over amped in Audition and then normalised

* except for people who are buried alive <shudder>

And confirmed :-)

Also figured out the my previous record knob behaviour - it starts at where the master knob is set :dog:
