Indeed nice. Dune 2 is also nice as you can use the OSC in unison as modulation source.pdxindy wrote:Thanks... that's a powerful feature. Bitwig has that built in at the DAW level so all their synths can do that and I have become used to using it constantly. The Bitwig modulation system works the same as the transmod system.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote:You can do lots of neat tricks with the Transmod system to create a dummy second set of oscillators, filters, etc. So you can basically turn this one oscillator synth into a multi-osc synth. This video from Strobe 1 explains it.pdxindy wrote:What is splitting the oscillator pitch with unison?himalaya wrote:Tricks like splitting the oscillator pitch with unison are unique, as far as I know.
Diva, RePro and Bazille allow you to use unison spread on any modulatable parameters but not unipolar and not per individual stacked voice. That is sweet that Cypher 2 is the same as Bitwig in this capability!
All of these synths have something unique....i still don´t know what to do with Strobe 2 since the GUI kills all the fun for me and the sound is so O.K.
I like Cypher 2 much more so far.
