Noise-Shaper is meant to ignore following filter shaper if Master Mix is below 100%?
I think, this might be a bug: having a HiHat-sound via NoiseShaper can't be effected by a Filter-Shaper LowPass. It just like in bypass mode if (!) the Master Mix is not 100%.

I would expect, that Noise -> Filter (get filtered) -> get mixed in via MasterMix amount.

How do you guys not run out of waves to switch between? There are 10 shapers with three bands each and they share 10(?) waves that can be triggered by midi or automation. Do you just add new instances of shaperbox per shaper? (midi control is out then tho). Do you add a new instance each time you design a new fill/transition/etc.?
I love how shaperbox (especially timeshaper) gives me great results quickly, but I struggle to manage all those possibilies for the whole duration of a track. For example I put shaperbox on a drum bus for some beat mangling. I obviously don't want to use the same phrase everytime, so I need ~5 waves for timeshaper alone, then add a few for different stutter effects with volume shaper and I'm already out of waves.

Yeah, shape automation is not SB's strong point.
It does what it does well, but for what you're doing, you'd be better off with Gross Beat or MRhythmizer.
Personally, I prefer automating MdelayMB for simple glitching. More control than I could ever need, with the option of glitching just transients :o

I've tried both and don't like the workflow at all unfortunately. I've also tried Infiltrator, Effectrix, Stutter Edit and many others and they all are in some way a hassle to work with imo. I like Shaperbox for its simplicity and quick results. However if it had the concept of scenes/patterns per shaper, that would push it to a whole new level imo. A man can dream, right?

I can't wait until Shaperbox comes out with the ability to run shapers in parallel. Like...
DriveShaper + PanShaper -> VolumeShaper
+ (Parallel)
TimeShaper + PanShaper -> VolumeShaper

Having a double grid setup, allowing you to choose two separate sets of Shapers in any order. Even more better the ability to wet / dry mix them from a separate knob for parallel mode.

Currently, I'm having to run Two separate Shaperboxes and using Reaper's parallel feature to do this. Saving the presets is a pain in the rear, because I have to remember when I save one to A and the other to B, that A & B is in parallel together or was that in series? Currently Reaper doesn't save FX containers.

I wish that Shaperbox could allow me to save dual presets as Preset A & Preset B and have a single name and give it a description like that I used this as a parallel plug-in or a series plugin.

Do you mean you can't save an FX Chain in REAPER that includes FX Containers? Not sure about that, really... anyway you can save everything as a Track template, and I'm pretty sure in this case containers are included.

Hope it helps,
Mario

You move your mouse cursor, double click on a preset (sometimes 2x doubleclicking at least on macOS Sonoma LogicPro10.8, there is a bug), it is not the preset you like, so you move the cursor manually to this next tiny line and double click, and again, and again because all these shaper combination do a pretty damn good job, no?
--> No one missing arrow keys for doing that? Like U-he Synths all have already build in and other developers too, veeeery comfortable and healthy to your working hand. :wink:

I don't get the clue why Cableguys don't have this on their radar, maybe they do not use tons of other developer products to compare the UI? I don't know but I am writing now here in this post, as my suggestion(s) via email are all declined by the same guy at cableguys: not interested. Ok, I still like this product, but it is not professional to me. :tu:
Yeah agree there should be a better way to step through presets

Would love to see something like a granulizer effect as the next thing added. I really think this would make Shaperbox even more amazing.

Does anyone know if ShaperBox 3.5 has a global mix knob? (i.e. select a preset, then use global mix knob) Thanks!

We just released ShaperBox 3.5.3, a small update that improves the FXP save/load experience and fixes issues with MIDI Out, Oscilloscope module sizing, and double-click defaults on certain controls. You can download the update in your Cableguys account at: https://www.cableguys.com/login

And don't forget, ShaperBox 3 Bundle is currently on Black Friday sale at just $89. The new Snapback instant drum layering effect is also on sale at $29 instead of $49. Or get them both, plus HalfTime, FilterShaper XL and more in the complete Cableguys Bundle, which is only $149 for Black Friday. https://www.cableguys.com/products

Yes, there is a global mix knob.
Where do you find the global mix knob. I'm looking around the interface and somehow not finding it. Thanks.

It's "Master Mix" in the top bar.

One thing which I find a bit illogical in the Volume Shaper:

When showing the sidechain signal, it´s by far brighter/clearer/better to see in the Oscilloscope than the actual signal...
SC.jpg
.
Shouldn´t it be the other way round?
The actual processed signal the brightest, the treated part dimmed and the SC signal even more dimmed as being just a little visual reference??
