They previous did very medium and reasonable prices for all their fx's. I was expecting same approch to their synth price. They did subscription, betrayed Youtubers, userbase, in one day they changed their mind to avoid the bankrupt (coherence...) All this thing is a mess.
Then they sell You vanilla Synth for 200 euros.
I have phaseplant (pay half for it). Pigments 4 (also payed half). Serum payed 189 euros (but it is an icon of our time). Vital 99 euros.
200 euros for an unprooven good synth is not a really nice pricetag. Also no mention for reduced price for people who own all their fx and packs.
I remember when I bought an FM synth called GHOST six month ago for around 100 bucks. The dev wrote me several time that he was preparing a big echosystem and that the beta version was just to make his business sustainable.
After that the synth was left behind.
Long story short. It must be really a gamechanging synth to go out for 200 euros without counting eventual future updates.
From the video I saw the graphic is sick (vital docet) but as for the sounds there is nothing that I couldn't replicate with the synths listed above.

+1
i think the demo is the subscription, that isn't a subscription anymore...

EDIT: indeed the sub is now the demo, temporarily?

because 2 Current version will come, one with Stream one without Stream?

No one is forcing anyone to buy synthesizers.

On the face of it this is a much more consumer-friendly model and a decent start on recovering trust, without completely undermining the premise that there will be lots more goodies coming.

The devil is in the details though; the RTO store credit system seems like a no-brainer, but it relies on the (unsafe?) assumption that they will not, say, hugely jack up prices in a year's time for things that can be bought with store credit.

Now the dust is starting to settle, can we acknowledge how beautiful the UI is, and how slick the stream integration looks? Really, really good job.

I feel bad for you guys because as someone who works in design and web apps, I know that took some serious work and money. Hopefully once the financials are sorted, everything still gets put to use :tu:

So, there is no demo is that right?

Problem is now:

When in doubt, Waves is still around.

This company uses challenge/response online copy protection. That means i'm not interested in their products. Nonetheless i wonder how they can compete with all the other do-it-almost-all synths out there? There is also Zebra 3 coming.

They claim to be fancier.
