Korg badly needs to update their product portfolio management (including naming conventions), pricing, and their "shop".
If you have one of the Collection 2 synths (not M1 Le!), there is no upgrade path to the full collection. What kind of non-sense is this in today's world!
And wish they get rid of the freaking "Collection 2" term.
Not that it matters much, but it is difficult to digest these things.

Sorry, it was a price error.FineCutBodies wrote: Mon Apr 20, 2020 7:18 pm Did the JRR's $126 offer of IK Total Studio 2 Max crossgrade went away? It says $151 with the group code now...

Did IK ever have it advertised for $149 on their site? I was assuming someone just made a mistake on their dealer page.dermage wrote: Tue Apr 21, 2020 6:11 am Was eying with ik crossgrade for 139,but 179 sorry, not for me. These actions are very unfriendly switching prices while a promo is running.

The dealer page originally told us to advertise it for $149. Now it says $179 and they personally contacted me about it.revvy wrote: Tue Apr 21, 2020 6:14 am Genuine questions, have Ik switched or was there just confusion surrounding reseller pricing?

Hi Eric, thanks for the explanation.
BTW, just ordered a MXR Mini Iso-Brick power supply from JRR. My first pedal didn't come with a power supply so it seemed smart to admit that I'll buy more pedals at some point, and get a multi-supply

Well, you really need to be open to the idea of it simply being a simple accident. This is probably TMI but there is a single 3rd party reseller portal that the majority of software companies use, and that portal had a major and rather confusing overhaul at the beginning of the year. Many companies have been making mistakes and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if that's what happened here.dermage wrote: Tue Apr 21, 2020 6:33 am It looks like they switched, anyway, it's my impression and it's not a good one.

My doctor had a cream for it, fortunately, but I'll still be walking funny for a week.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: Tue Apr 21, 2020 5:51 pm Just kidding, slow burning sensation will likely only ensue

Didn't realize that, what a nice surprise. Thank you!joe_b wrote: Tue Apr 21, 2020 10:50 pmNo need to upgrade the license or whatsoever, just use "Korg Software Pass" and update your installations. Done.Hans25 wrote: Tue Apr 21, 2020 10:33 pm Does anyone understand this "generous" Korg Collection 2" offer where people owning Collection 1 can upgrade for free?
https://www.kvraudio.com/news/korg-rele ... tent=48429
On Korg's website it is stated that: "Users who have already purchased the KORG Collection series can update to version 2 for free."
https://www.korg.com/us/products/softwa ... ollection/
However when I login I get the "generous" offer to add Triton for $149 (Not gonna happend) because I upgraded from Legacy Bundle to get Arp Odyssey.
If you look at the Korg Collection 2 main page the Triton is pictured along the others. But when you login it's like you only get the "old" new versions update with this fantastic 4K GUI resize option.
I can't see this as anything else than a contradiction.
What ever!
