I've seen strange things with the newer presets and Z2 2.1. Check out 2.2b6 and see if it still happens.funkychickendance wrote:Zebra 2.1. Should I move up?
The MSEG1 disable idea worked perfectly. Thanks!

It's the infamous MSEG bug. It came up in Zebra 2.1, with the advent of Single Trigger modes for MSEGs. Back then there weren't many presets using that feature, later on came quite a lot (just check this forum for similar reports)funkychickendance wrote:[But now you should tell me the theoretical reason, maybe? I encountered this with the SEQ GM bass arps too....]
The tricky part was, it only happens under random conditions, it can be different from platfrom to platform and even from processor to processor. It only happened once on my Macbook for instance, in almost a year. I could never reproduce it here since.
Fortunately, this bug is 99% surely fixed in late Zebra 2.2 betas.
Cheers,

Michael,
Though I got v2 immediately when it came out, I'm just this afternoon finding an opportunity to play through the new presets. They're absolutely stunning -- thank you SO MUCH!
