Nice deal. Beware though, it seems you can't authorize it on both PC and Mac at the same time.

So tempted to get the Mono/Poly. I have the original Legacy and the Digital, but didn't get the 2007 edition, and I've always regretted it. But I'm one of those people that's got way more synths than I know what to do with already, and I just don't know if I should spend money on yet another one. Is the Mono/Poly really worth it, considering there's all kinds of amazing synths out already. Does it really sound/do anything unique, beyond Korg's distinctive patch programming in those 256 presets?
For me personally, the Legacy Cell was the real highlight of the collection, because it allows far more flexibility than the M20 or Polysix alone. Does the Mono/Poly come close to the sound/capabilities of the Legacy Cell?

Does anyone know how many presets does the ms-20 come with? and if there are more banks available?

It originally came with just 32 presets. But there are more than a few (60+) different presets that appear in (and can be poached from) the Legacy Cell patches.origami wrote:Does anyone know how many presets does the ms-20 come with? and if there are more banks available?
Also, when Korg updated the features of the legacy MS-20, they included 32 new patches that took advantage of those new features. The original bank was still included, but it was re-named "MS-20_v100.fxb".
I believe there's also a few new banks available from Korg's site. And there's a few banks (including an effort from me) available on the patch section of this very site.

As it was a long time ago since I enjoyed a VSTi as much as the Wavestation. I just had to get the M1 also. I always had a soft spot for Korgs stuff ever since using a minikorg back in the 70's. And I still have some Korg hardware - on the synth side a Monopoly, MS10, EX800 and NX5R.
