Bring it on, let's hear some alternativesDSmolken wrote:To me the factory presets are modernized Krautrock, the Phonemklatura stuff is great experimental weirdness, but I think there are lots of other things Phonem is great for. As a very powerful and expressive alternative to the currently trendy chooped vocals, for example.kelvyn wrote:You've got to hand it to Simon:) His work on this is a testament to his skills as a sound manipulater. To me the Phonem in it's basic state with the original factory presets is rather meh! But what Simon has done really shows the things capabilities. Great job!

Thank's for the update which happened in all Christmas silence, now we only need a fix for the tempo-synced LFOs, they just don't work reliably and are not tight in any way, especially when assigning them to phonem position in order to create tempo-synced vocal mayhem.
Phonem rocks!

Yes, version 1.010 now automatically saves all assets embedded into the preset (if you choose to do so), and it prevents you from saving assets into various factory folders, so your stuff won't be scattered all over the place anymore because you have to select your user folder as a destination when saving an utterance or wavetable. It also makes a temporary copy of the activated Bank in your DAW project, so all presets and assets are in fact saved with each DAW project.camsr wrote:The project save was implemented?

Didn't you write last time and then remembered, that you had a different e-mail address signed with the PPG account?pdxindy wrote:I didn't receive any notice...Sampleconstruct wrote:Thank's for the update which happened in all Christmas silence, now we only need a fix for the tempo-synced LFOs, they just don't work reliably and are not tight in any way, especially when assigning them to phonem position in order to create tempo-synced vocal mayhem.

Strangely enough, in the latest release version tempo-synced LFOs only work when the host/DAW is running in play mode, there was a version before in which that issues was fixed, could we have that back please?

I find it quite remarkable what Phonem can do in the overtone domain, here the modulation wheel morphs the more conventional vocal sound into some ethereal texture and unfolds all these harmonics...
