PPG Phonem lets the user create expressive vocal synthesis beyond anything ever heard before. With its advanced routing system every aspect of the voice can be controlled and modulated in any conceivable way. Anything from a quiet whisper to a scream. Use the intuitive text to speech tool to make Phonem say whatever you want.

Although the PPG Phonem was originally designed to do just vocal synthesis, it turned out that the system is also capable of producing a wide range of universal synthesizer sounds. So we extended the parameter ranges and made everything accessible to the user, to take advantage of this fact.

U have only 3 activation codes and with new PC, you loose one – kind of soft-crime against musicians ..

There are few others bad surprises: There is no file rename – so in order to get some preset to your folder for autopsy, you have to: 0) Make target folder 1) Set target folder, 2) Click copy to target, 3) Go to targeted file – again save as, 4) Delete previous file 5) and again save bank. Even this dont have to work and Synth just say did not find some files and ... looped part of phonemes and main envelope are on different places and you have to manytimes uselessly clicking back and forth just to get some few controls working (while keyboard on bottom still take large portion of synth and can not be hide). Structure is messy (same like structure of manual) but one would say ok, if the synth would give some control over the sound, but there is virtually no control over the voice samples (beside its length and hazy EQ) .. if you are used to Melodyne and vocal post-processing – you have much more options this way...

The synth can be good for some stuffs, but not vocals... it is fun synth, but if you still don't have mic, and some basic VST do not buy this....

I would sell it if I could....
