Yeah, we've heard good things about Superbooth, and being a eurorack user myself, we have some inclination to go there. That said, a lot of our stuff is post/engineering focused, and my impression is that that may not be the perfect match per se. However with MORPH and ADAPTIVERB, and by then, WORMHOLE, that assessment could change ;-)

Now the same, but MORPH2ing this time ;)

edit: did I notice some crackles? Gimme more! *g*
Some of the presets probably had the output gain boosted to much, thus the crackling. Morphing those drones could be interesting, I'll try that once I've collected the next bunch.
So this was worth an experiment, I had to do it in Cubase which can run at a buffer of 2048 samples, the 1024 in Logic were not enough to cope with 2 instances of AV and one instance of Morph.

Morphing between various drones and textures (AV in drone player/Freeze-mode) on the fly, a tiny bit of Cubase REVelation reverb on the master bus as adding another instance of AV started to produce CPU crackling.

Quite interesting, combining Adaptiverb and Morph! Sadly I use Logic, not Cubase, but I'll see what Tracktion can do.

Evolving, harmonic, slow bloom reverb on guitar chords:

I'd be interested to hear if others have had the same experience as I just did.

I bounced a Logic project in which I used one instance of Adaptiverb. I used the Bionic Raytracing B Verb, untweaked, on a Send bus. The instrument I used it on was VSL Soprano Sax. I bounced in Realtime.

When I listened to the wav file afterwards, I noticed just one note which was too loud. So I opened up the project, altered the note to my satisfaction, then bounced again.

When I listened to the second wav file, I heard general differences e.g. it seemed a little quieter, and there was less verb resonance in places. This was obvious when comparing the waveforms, too. I checked the Logic project to see if any parameters had changed but all looked the same.

So I bounced a third version. And .... some slight differences in the waveforms !!

This is all very subtle, but is hearable so I was wondering what was causing it. One possible reason came to mind: is using Adaptiverb like performing live .... each time it will be different ? I certainly didn't notice this when editing the project at the Logic stage.

Adaptiverb creates some amazing, and beautiful sounds !

Thanks for insights,

SeaDream

Makes you wonder how Zynaptiq got to make Adaptiverb sound so organic. Maybe they could update Morph and make it look and sound more organically like Adaptiverb.

This is an exploration into Adaptiverbs ability to generate sound without the need for an external instrument (%100 Adaptiverb):

In case anyone here needs some fresh presets for Adaptiverb, check out my expansion Colored Spaces which I just released.

I've just found out from Denis that my earlier problem, being unable to save my own drone presets, has been fixed with the latest build. A quick test confirms that fact, so all is good and I am a happy man :D

Does the factory presets that contains the freeze button already pressed when loaded does not make any sound if you came from the default preset which has the freeze button unpressed?

The reverb freeze presets that you create with the latest build of the adaptiverb plugin recalls perfectly when reloaded. But then if you first opened a reverb freezed preset that you just recently created with the latest version of the adaptiverb plugin. And that preset has the freeze button pressed when loaded.
Then when you open a factory preset that has the freeze button pressed. Your user created reverb freeze buffer is carried over into there.

So the factory presets that claims to have reverb freezed sounds.
Does not make any sound if you first loaded that default preset and then loaded that infinite reverb freeze factory preset that has the freeze button pressed that the default preset didn't have.

The reverb freeze presets you create with the latest version of adaptiverb works perfectly when reloaded.
But then if you directly switch to one of the factory presets that has the reverb freeze button already pressed. Then the contents of your user created reverb freeze buffer is still used and not the reverb freeze buffer that the factory preset has that has the reverb freeze button already pressed when loaded.

Hi Jedinhopy.

I switched between my saved FREEZE presets and back to a factory FREEZE preset, and then back to one of mine, and all sounded fine to me.

I'll check again though next time I am in my DAW.

Just got the Adaptiverb Demo and loaded in Simons Colored Spaces set for it. Very nice sounding reverb and even though I don't own it yet I have these lovingly crafted presets to get in knee deep aright away, I'll probably now find that I can't live without this new but expensive tool and be buying it when the Demo expires..

Btw I'm getting tons of performance out of my new iMac i7 4Ghz, with 8 Gb ram.. So it's happily very usable on this system.

I'm a little unclear as to how the rendering works, Does the large processing lag disappear on the logic bounced files?
waves break, but somehow it all makes sense.

Did you get a demo of Colored Spaces to load into Adaptiverb?

Geeeez you guys make some amazing stuff.

I think with every one of your plugs I initially thought, 'Eh, not sure I need that', and then after investigating was thinking, 'Well, I absolutely have to have that.'

Admittedly, a bit to high of a price point to be an instant grab, but probably not overpriced.
