Dont know if this has been mentioned already...
Would love to see some kind of cv recorder in Z3. Some akin to the Flame Quad CV recorder. Dont know why this doesnt exist in any? software synths. The Modal8 and Minilogue XD both have something like it, but the lanes are static. If you added in the ability to modulate the start / end points / speed / playback direction of each cv lane and you would add some pretty epic functionality...

Ability to duplicate modules and/or copy and paste module settings from one module to another of the same type within the grid would be awesome.
A dedicated saturation fx module with different saturation types

Check out CVilization Mode 3 and keep an eye on Hive sequencer improvements while we're working on Z3.
Btw. I think the original Massive Reaktor ensemble (was it called Carbon?) had a CV recorder. Not sure if it was per voice or what it did, not sure if I'm mixing up 15 year old memories.

Copy/Paste between modules will certainly happen (see Hive), probably right in the Grid.grandmasterbird wrote: Tue Jun 23, 2020 9:16 am Ability to duplicate modules and/or copy and paste module settings from one module to another of the same type within the grid would be awesome.

Z2 has two kinds of saturation effects already (Shaper + Distortion), plus wavefolders. I think we'd rather build fewer different modules with more coherent options.

Indeed Carbon 2 ensemble (but not the original Carbon) had EG3 which is basically a single knob which you can record movements of. Can be oneshot or looped.

Eagerly looking forward to zebra 3

I'd love if there were a way of slewing between mod-mapper states. Ie. In increment mode, you play a chord, which distributes a list of values among the different voices. There's not much I'd love more than to be able to set a period of time (perhaps even preceded by an optional delay) to then interpolate from the old list to the new list, when striking a new chord.
My apologies if this is already achievable in Zebra 2, I haven't been able to pinpoint the solve.

I'm not 100% sure it's what you want, but it's easy to crossfade between two maps using a mixer in "fade1/2 by 3xC" mode.vvilms wrote: Tue Jun 23, 2020 5:56 pm I love if there were a way of slewing between mod-mapper states. interesting... like a glide modifier for any arbitrary modulation source (@Howie @Tas Jira this?)vvilms wrote: Tue Jun 23, 2020 5:56 pm I love if there were a way of slewing between mod-mapper states. That sounds like a pretty good idea. Simple and possibly crazy good.
(I did get a Grappa at my Italian restaurante, so I might be a bit tipsy, but it does sound pretty cool)

Cool, looking forward to see what you've got planned for Hive's sequencer.Urs wrote: Tue Jun 23, 2020 9:35 amCheck out CVilization Mode 3 and keep an eye on Hive sequencer improvements while we're working on Z3.

Is there a manual up for CVilization ?
