Now I can realize my dream of gluing a Juno chorus onto a Jupe. Thank you Arturia!
Couldn't you already do that with the free Tal chorus?

prolly 🤷‍♂️

I think the message after ordering said within 24 hours.
Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

If you're confused because Analog Lab V has less presets than Analog Lab 4, it is a bug that occurs for users that have an ALV and AL4 licence but no VCollection licence. You should have all your AL4 presets in ALV as long as your AL4 licence is also activated on your computer.
This should be fixed in the Analog Lab V hotfix that will be released very soon, if the problem still occur after updating please contact the support !
The update/hotfix corrected my missing AL 4 presets in AL V! Thanks! :tu:
Windows 10 and too many plugins

Ditto, thanks. Last night's patch also added back 'The Laboratory' controller, which I use. Much better default mappings than what i had resorted to using.

I got it. cheers ... seems to be vst3 only(?)

EDIT the software centre installs both vst3 and AAX versions. If you need vst2 it's included in the downloadable installer.

It installed the VST2 for me (at least on Mac). I can't see them removing VST2 support at the moment given they are tied to NKS support.

Not for me. My ASC (Windows version 2.2.0.62) installs both vst2 and vst3.

anyone experiences crashes with OB-Xa, in cubase pro 11, windows 10 (20H2)? crash popup, when loading the plugin (VST3 version, didn't try VST2 version, they don't show up, you can force it of course). can be another thing. but, latest version of OB-Xa, perhaps others experience it also.

hmmm ... I didn't see any option about where to place a vst2 before installing (using the software centre) and couldn't find a dll in any of the usual places. Where did it put the dll on your system?

You can set the path in Preferences which you can find in the upper right corner hidden under your account name.

Awesome ... thank you. I found the JUN-1 dll inside my Arturia Minifilter folder (last installed arturia plugin) :ud:

Two weeks ago, the messaging from Gaby in Arturia support was that many of the AL 4 presets were removed due to not reaching their "current standards" for AL 5. I wonder what changed?

tonedef71 wrote: Tue Dec 15, 2020 7:45 pmAnalog Lab V feels almost like it is running single-threaded. The analysis of wait chains on the Analog V application process indicates that it is always waiting on dwm.exe, which is the Windows "Desktop Window Manager" process.
Click the settings cog in the upper right, there is an option to enable MultiCore.
I know. Unfortunately, turning on MultiCore does not seem to make any difference.

No other software on my PC seems to exhibit this slow-response, I/O intensive behavior.

When I first fire-up Analog Lab V, nothing happens for about 15 seconds. No splash screen -- nothing. Not inspiring confidence when the software starts up.
I was hopeful that the threading issue with Analog Lab 5 (standalone) waiting on dwm.exe would go away with the new build of Analog Lab 5. Alas, it did not -- the issue remains. :(

EDIT: The issue does not appear to be limited to the standalone version of Analog Lab 5. It happens with the plug-in version (VST2) as well.

Image

When you first start Analog Lab 5 (plug-in or standalone), Analog Lab 5 recommend taking a break for coffee. It needs a bit of time to finish its initialization before the UI becomes responsive. While the AL 5 UI is visible, it will always be waiting on dwm.exe.
