Just plug in, add a tinny bit of reverb and you're there.
It just sounds good on any setting.

I find it really interesting that you found the Sansamp to be so good. I borrowed one of these several months back and found it very drab and fake sounding. I couldn't find a setting that did anything I liked. I am sure that it's is just me but I even liked AT1 1more than this Sansamp.I went down to the music store to demo the POD XT Live but I
ended up with this thing:

never in my life did any piece of gear make go wow like the first week I had my sansamp...sure I have better stuff now...but I expected that stuff to be better...the sansamp blew me away...so I'm surprised by your reaction to it...but like I said yesterday...that's what is so great about today...there is something for everyone...Beardedone wrote:I find it really interesting that you found the Sansamp to be so good. Sadly mine died recently, I may not replace it (I might repair it some rainy afternoon)

It is weird because the word is that this box is more than decent. Maybe there was something wrong with the unit I borrowed. I was not able to coax one dramatically interesting sound and yes I did follow the manualon how to change the settings but they all sounded dull and washed out and no where near as rich as my VAMP2.
. I was able to pull up some mildly annoying distortion and some tubey colours but nothing I wouldn't be very emabarrassed to use on stage.

When I workd at Mars we had a jam party once but not at the store like we did often...everyone wanted to use my sansamp>board>PA (my buddies PA), when I wasn't playing it was fine by me...Beardedone wrote:It is weird because the word is that this box is more than decent.
