Had a deal and sent payment to Dim Vision for Hive 2. He ended up selling to someone else (said they paid first). Bad experience because he sold the same item to multiple people and collected payment. He did refund my payment and apologized but my time was wasted and now need to wait for a refund to process because he took payment from multiple people for the same item.

I'm guessing you may have posted this before seeing my explanation for what happened. For anyone wondering, it was an honest mistake on my part, as I explained to Remi by private message. Granted, it was a negative experience, but the details matter.

To be clear, I accepted two offers mistakenly. I was handling multiple sales enquiries at once while I was out on a date with my partner. I didn't realise I accepted two offers for the same license, since it's awkward navigating this forum on a smartphone, and my attention was spread at the time.

I woke the next day to find two payments for the same license — one submitted 4 hours after my offer acceptance, and the other 8 hours after acceptance. I received no expectation from either interested buyers regarding when payment would be made, prior to my going to sleep yesterday. I ended up choosing to honour the person who paid first and most promptly, since it seemed right to resolve the situation by first come first served (whoever paid first).

I did not wilfully accept two offers and wait to see who would pay first, as Remi's feedback may imply.
