Still now upgrade mail. A wild guess: They have to sort the download thing out, since they will offer all free upgraders to download instead of sending a real life package. Whatever - it would be nice to hear something from them, now that the full packages are obviously shipping.

hey, i tracked the shipping of my AT2 box, and know what? it arrived in my town 1,5 hours ago, and it says that its now on the way to my home ..

so, if i'm lucky i'll be the very first kvr'ian to open a thread saying that at least 18500 of these 20000 amp-combinations suck hard ..

I really doubt that since AT2 will require a dongle to work.

Read the mail by Squids a few pages ago, and wisdom will come to you... He says there that people who own a Syncrosoft dongle already might be able to download it. (I own one, for example, so I would be happy to download it... no need for a physical package here.)

Actually, now I am not sure whether I read it in this thread or somewhere else. Anyway, Squids said that they are checking the possibility of a download. Due to the high number of pre-orders and people who get the AT1-2 upgrade, physical shipments might take weeks, he says, so they will offer the download version for the ones that don't need the physical package, in order to speed up the shipment process. Seems o.k. to me. Now if that darn upgrade mail would arrive...

.. oki folks, here's the first report. g5 2.0 dual, Logic 7.1.1, os 10.3.9.

i'm trying to install it, but guess what ..

.. it crashes the AU-validation. and that means that i simply cant open it in Logic, as its just not available in the plug-menue ..

i cant even use it as a non-validated plugin. summary: its a no go at the moment ..

.. tried it 3 times now, but the shit is ever the same. the installation-manual even says there's an uninstaller, but of course there's none.
oki, gonna try it now on my powerbook.
