.. okay, did the maintenance. then i uninstalled AT2 by hand. like i said before, the manual says that there's an uninstaller. but there's none. so i did it manually. then i reinstalled it, in the exact way the manual told me.

again, the same thing like told above.

seriously, it takes quite a bit to make me angry. but right now i feel the blood cooking under the hun's skin ..
thats a no-go and i want help from IK right away, as this isnt acceptable at all.

the thing is: it actually passes the AU-val test, but AFTER it passed it the AU-val crashes. usually, in that case, you can still select the AU to use it. Logic then tells you that you shouldnt use unvalidated plugs, but leaves you the option.
but in this case i can select it in the AU-manager, but it still doesnt show up in Logic's plugin-menue.

.. update: it now appears in the "incompatible"-plugin menu inside Logic. let's see what happens now ..

, especially after comparing it against GR2. wow, thats what i hoped for: character, and to my taste AT2 just offers it. and really, that GR2 has no chance against AT2. again, all this said cause i have the taste for sound i have, so this should never ever be taken as an objective judgement. and wow, AT2 can sound warm! ..

oki, thats it for now. i'll report back later. so far i'm happy with that sound my guitar gives me ..

.. holy schnitzel! with every minute passing i'm getting closer to Squids-mode ..

seriously, this beast offers me that warmth i wanted to hear from AT1, GR and GR2. and none of them could offer it to me .. and now AT2 comes along after just a little time of waiting ..

.. and makes me go wowowow ..

and not only warmth, also some direct-into-the-face sounds ..

just wading through the presets at the moment, and this alone makes me excited.
