I'll definitely try to get it to work with Jbridge.
An "invisible" jBridge integrated into a plugin cost 500$ (last time I checked). Converting a SE synth to a custom-coded one is around 20k-25k (again, last time I checked). Genesis Pro looks fairly complex so I would tend to think it's closer to 25k.
20-25k :o
I realize it must be an extremely laborious effort, but that price... Was it ever actually done in human history?

As far as the "invisbile" jbridge goes, that 500 USD - is it just a permission to distribute the pre-wrapped dll without the Jbridge logo?

Or does it involve testing stability in various DAWs, troubleshooting, adapting the bridge code to the specific dll to minimize crashes and errors? On other words, does it provide any advantages to end users, who may just run jbridge themselves?

Ye, I've seen it done a few times. Private software projects, which are usually done by freelance devs, are eye-wateringly expensive.

As far as the wrapper thing, also, afaik, it's just a labelless (that's not a real word  ) pre-wrap, as you say.

I see, then it doesn't seem to make much sense.

Then it must be a 250 USD plugin which 100 people must buy just to compensate these expenses.

Actually if Genesis Pro is really as good as I expect it to be, I could pay that kind of price for a native 64 bit version - stable, properly supported and all.

20-25k is a low number, like 4-5 months salary. I wonder if a port would finish in 4-5 months.

BTW there are much worse plugins for more than 1€ (e.g. SoundSpot, eMastered ATOM and others).

If somebody is looking for a VSTi and it needs to be 64 bit in order to use it, then why are they in here complaining that this plugin is 32 bit and putting Oz down? Not very logical of these plugin experts. Guaranteed none of these naggers have made a plugin anybody uses.

In the meantime, I am psyched for this and my one Euro is queued. I might even buy two.

Perhaps they are so intrigued by the concept of Genesis Pro they want it to be updated to modern specs and if they are Mac users want to use the plugin as well.

No one who has paid attention to the whole thread is "putting Oz down". A few people who don't know the back story are spouting off but I wouldn't worry about them. I'd say people's interest is more of a compliment to the concept of Genesis Pro than an insult. If the plugin didn't intrigue people they wouldn't be showing any interest at all and it would simply be lumped in with all the other 32 bit Synth Edit plugins of which there are hundreds if not thousands.

The fact that given the specs it's generating any interest at all is a huge compliment to Ummet Ozcan's vision and design concept for Genesis Pro. I have over 450 plugins on my studio computer but not one of them is 32 bit. However I'll buy Genesis Pro just because it intrigues me but that doesn't stop me from wishing it was native coded to modern specs. That's not an insult to Ummet it's just just expressing sadness that he couldn't have worked with a developer to release GP as a native plugin without the need for SE and that could be enjoyed by all including Mac users....

I'm defo buying it, I would even if it were my last one Euro :D

Hope I'll somehow get it to work with Jbridge, but I'm not holding my breath it will be really stable and reliable. Hope no worse than my Virus TI tho, which I'm still using a lot despite all the crashes.

Almost all the TRacks plugins, all the Plug and Mix collection, everything from Nomad Factory, plugins from four DAWs etc, and those are just effects....it adds up. I may not use them all on a daily basis but they're tools in the toolbox if needed.....
