OK I have a little demo sound here.Beardedone wrote:I find it really interesting that you found the Sansamp to be so good. I borrowed one of these several months back and found it very drab and fake sounding. I couldn't find a setting that did anything I liked. I am sure that it's is just me but I even liked AT1 1more than this Sansamp.I went down to the music store to demo the POD XT Live but I
ended up with this thing:

My new toy:
It's AMAZING!
Just plug in, add a tinny bit of reverb and you're there.
It just sounds good on any setting.

Sorry metal heads it's a cleanish sound.
Listen to the way the SansAmp interacts with my playing.
No plug ever gave me quite the same feeling. (simulanalog came close though)
Hopefully AT2 will be just as good.

is this REAL? AT2 is released, this thread is on page 254, and there is a positive feedback on AT2?
C'mon putte, wake up now!
You slept enough! Time to post some mp3's!
@AndrewSimon: great sound... what reverb/delay did you use for this clip?

You mean choose the shipping option (I am not sure it is a boxed version, sorry, but you could request a box separately if you really wanted one... or save the treesAntonis wrote:Ok just to set the record straight..
If i choose the boxed option instead of the download
will this (the box) include a key?
I did learn of something though and I might as well post it (for your benefit). Korg apparently is selling the Syncroft key for $9 from their website (also Korg plug-ins work with the same key in addition to Steinberg, IK, Arturia and Vienna). So, again, if I were you I would just get yourself a key as cheap as you can find it so you can use it immediately. If saving $9-20 is that important (either in principle or financially) then of course you can wait and get the app and the key completely free. But, to me that's just a technicality. In all reality I can't see anyone actually wanting to wait 2 more months to get it when they have an option to use it next week! That was my whole point when I asked that this be an option. I know the LAST thing ANYONE wants to do is wait even longer to get it! But, of course you can, it is your option.

Hi Squids,
To be clear - are you saying that esoundz customers cannot choose to get download the update, but still have the boxed version (and the key) sent some time (months) later?

A guy with serious GAS and lots of unused VSTs. But if I someday need them...

I know this was for Putte but I will offer my 2 cents. I wouldn't choose AT2 over an AC30 in the studio. Well, unless I needed to keep the level down for various reasons (like if it was a home studio... an AC30 cranked is freakin' LOUD!!!). An AC30 is an AC30! Especially a JMI one from the England in 1964 with Top Boost if you have access to one. I am a Beatles fan so that's what I have. Cost me over $2,000 though not including the shipping from the UK.seamoss wrote:so putte, would you choose this over an AC30 in the studio?
honestly?
Oh... Putte and Meffy just showed up!!!!

Was that in response to my question? No offense, but I'll wait for a clear message from Squids.
I simply can't believe that after all these delays, and despite (if I understand the picture clearly) pre-order customers having to wait as long as 2 more months) that the best solution is to offer a download at the expense of the dongle that was promised at the time of purchase. After all, isn't it about the license?
Forgive my misgivings - maybe I'm reading this all wrong...
