When Orchestral Tools or Spitfire Audio are having a sale I want to see it in the No Chat thread. Or even good sound designers like Toybox Audio, Luftrum or The Unfinished. I don't want to have to look in a separate thread to find these.quietzone wrote: Thu Sep 10, 2020 8:14 pm Preset deals could be banned from the no-chat thread and allowed to be posted only as regular sell+buy threads like already some of the preset dealers do. At least then they'd be subjected to the 48h bump rule.
Also that'd keep the no-chat thread notifications to a minimum and it'd make them more meaningful too.

Found this from a resellerPhoto_G wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2020 4:00 pmThanks DZ! Could you link to where they have confirmed this? I would ask them directly. If they don't honor your free upgrade, "hey, I read it on gear4music!" may not be a great argument. Just saying.v1o wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2020 4:42 pmFound this from a resellerPhoto_G wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2020 4:00 pmThanks DZ! Could you link to where they have confirmed this? Oh I like that. I can upgrade from K12 Select to the full K12 for $187 including shipping and then presumably get K13. Only thing causing me concern is reports of shipping from Europe to US taking a very long time with customs holding stuff up for weeks or even months. Plus the possibility of surprise fees (credit card company, customs, etc). But still a big enough saving to have me consider it.

Exactly. It's best for every individual to have a confirmation from NI to avoid any disappointment.monomox wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2020 5:20 pmI would ask them directly. It seems a lot of the places that have the box copies are sold out. You may want to hurry.

I've noticed a number of UK stores are running that same offer, it might be reseller specific. In anycase Gear4music are quite a reputable store, if they advertise a free update to K13 they have to honour their promise or give your money. So if there are any issues I would speak to the retailer.monomox wrote: Fri Sep 11, 2020 5:20 pmI would ask them directly. Very likely not considering the license key explicitly states RX7, but I would like to know as well since I haven't used my key.zacha wrote: Sun Sep 13, 2020 1:28 am Has anyone who’s registered the Plugin Boutique free RX 7 Elements code from last month found that it’s since been upgraded to RX 8 Elements?

What makes this a bargain is that some sellers who have box versions of Komplete 12 updates/upgrades are selling them at half price. Unfortunately, I did not find any US sellers with the boxed edition. They are mostly European/UK resellers like Thomann - https://www.thomannmusic.com/native_ins ... update.htm
Good deal but includes shipping. However, you don't have to wait until next summer to get the update/upgrade.

I would never buy that until NI gives a clear confirmation. While resellers seem to have that confirmed, I still think it is best to check with NI support, else it could end up in a disappointment.
