XLN is one of those companies that are very flexible with their "paks".
Things I've bought in paks have been released for individual sale on every request to do so. Also, when I had accumulated something I already had but hadn't picked out yet such as the instrument ad-ons or kit pak, they've essentially traded them for credit against something I didn't own yet.

Definitely one of those companies where dealing with them has repeatedly been fantastic in my experience.

And with buying, selling and cost averaging they've come out being one of the most inexpensive and best investments I've made. Got a question for them? Ask directly. You might be surprised how accommodating they are.

do they have sales?
cheers
I really like their plugins. Very creative. Can’t remember if I purchased them direct or via reseller but I think it was in sales. Never needed support. Sleeper plugins for sure.
That Ephemere plugin is on my 'to buy' list for sure.
It's probably a bit tight-arsed to be waiting for a sale... I'm assuming it's either a keyfile or an unlocked software download?
thanks for the reply ;)

Just in case anyone missed it: CableGuys TimeShaper is $15 on sale at PluginBoutique.com. It's pretty great for record scratch effects and weird sound design.

I use both companies products but in my opinion PSP is on a higher level than IK for effects.

I'd rather have root canal work without painkillers than deal with IK, PSP are great though.
Mac mini m4 pro, Reaper, too many plugins, Modal Argon8, Novation Circuit Mono Station and now a lovely Waldorf Blofeld.

Damn, dude! Just reading that is painful! I went to the dentist for the first time in years yesterday... It was rough.

I sadly had a very bad experience lately with Jrrshop over Xhun Audio IronAxe which is 32bit only but was not mentioned anywhere on the Jrrshop product page. I then had a convoluted refund chase which ended with me feeling that Jrrshop gave poor customer service, with the money refunded after 2 months and only after my chasing repeatedly.

Its really the vendors obligation to state whether something they are selling is limited or not compatible to say a Mac only product or only 32bit format, its just asking for trouble otherwise.
This is a similar case - I´ve got a email from the JRR, where they try to move the responsibility of giving adequate product information in THEIR site, to the software manufacturer - and if the manufacturer is not willing to refund, JRR couldn´t help. As a loyal customer, with at least purchases $ 1500+ over the years from the JRR, this kind of feedback is really unprecedented.
Let´s see how this will develop, I´ll let you know.

Does Audio Badass 2 have a demo? Why, yes it does. Where do you get said demo? Why, on the manufacturer’s site. Fancy that.

Sadly, this is the same with me. Good luck. To me the onus should be on JRRshop to list specs that will have a real compatibility issue for most people with products that are 32bit only. Maybe 5 years ago one could have argued it was still OK to use 32bit but even still that kind of information is vital.

Personally, thanks to the option of the competition, I'm done with Jrrshop, one too many issues of late. I know a lot of people love Jrrshop and thats great, to each their own. Personally I really like Uncle E too, I see him in a few forums and he is a great contributor. I actually haven't seen him post here in the bargains discussion where he used to frequent, probably since the debacle with outcries of sensitivity that went a few months back, he was having a laugh and got slammed for it. Some here may feel it was totally justified but others like me felt that that humour was totally fine in a comfortable environment such as KVR.

Naaaa man, you dont get it. I mean, yes plugins may have demos. Yes, one could and should download demos for compatibility. But within reason. I used Xhun Audio's other plugins before, I didnt have to go to their website to comb compatibility with IronAxe as I assumed it was like Little One - compatible.

So yes always best to demo but come on as if that stuff shouldn't be listed as a warning, this is common practice! also it saves JRRshop the headache it creates for itself with support tickets.. so you can see how its not so obvious.

I suspect your life is one long string of disappointments. And everyone else is to blame.
