You can be creative in any right place on Earth, and not only in the wealthiest cities. Bring the world feelings from everywhere, and not only feelings of capitalistic or jail environment.

This thing is shockingly good. Absolute steal at the price.

It’s basically 2 stock ableton devices cleverly implemented + some extra sauce. Not a diss. He says as much in the video.

So then, if this is not a dis in disguise, like why would you point out something that was by your own admission already pointed out if not to dis, then it's safe to say everything is basically something else cleverly implemented into something else. Even this response. So why post in the first place?

Oh wait...riiight...deeeepp

Simply because anyone with live suite who doesn’t have spare $$ around or wants to have a go at building something similar would have the basic components to do that already in their hands. Could I have framed it differently? Sure. Does his device sound good and will it be appealing to people looking for something like that? Yes.

I didn't take it as a dis at all. You just stated what is the case.

In the video Ijo makes no secret that he used some of the features in Max 9 (live Devices) as a basis for the plugin. The implementation is what's cool about it.

You could probably cobble together something similar but it's just nice to have everything in one unit. It's not exactly expensive either!

Yeah. It’s clever and the ui would be a bit tricky for someone just figuring things out.

B.S Disintegrator - Sound Degradation And Live Phase Modulation

Image

Free for a limited time with the code "EROSIONV2"

Meet B.S Disintegrator, B.S AudioTools take on Ableton Live's native Erosion. At its core, the device subtly or radically transforms audio by modulating a short internal delay line at audio rates. B.S Disintegrator significantly expands upon Erosions capabilities, offering unparalleled flexibility and depth with new modulation sources like diverse noise types, a versatile internal oscillator with pitch tracking and MIDI control, or the ability to use any external audio signal as a modulator. This allows for far more versatile and advanced sounds.

With the B.S Disintegrator, you can for example introduce vinyl crackle to a clean drum loop, adding a digital grit to vocals for subtle textural enhancement. For dynamic sound design, consider creating evolving, metallic percussion, aggressive basslines with complex harmonic content, or otherworldly drones. The device excels at generating new overtones, transforming simple waveforms into complex, harmonically rich sounds similar to classic FM synthesis. Furthermore, you can introduce subtle pitch drift and imperfections for a vintage, "broken tape" or lo-fi feel, adding analog instability to your sounds. With precise control over the modulation signal, the B.S Disintegrator is more than a simple degradation device, offering a versatile tool for both surgical sound shaping and extreme sonic transformation.

Key Features:
Three Versatile Modulation Sources: Built-in Noise generator, a powerful internal Oscillator, or any external input.
Advanced Noise Generator: Six different noise types like Vinyl Crackle or Random Pops with seamless stereo width control.
Powerful Internal Oscillator: Multiple waveforms, pitch tracking, midi tuning and FM Ratios.
Flexible External Input: Use any audiosource as the sidechain input, opening up endless possibilities for texturing and sound design.
Advanced Modulator Shaping: Sculpt your modulator signal with the built-in resonant filter, add more overtones with the Drive control and adjust the stereo width.
Intuitive XY Pad: The XY pad provides control over the device’s most important parameters, encouraging experimentation and happy accidents.

This thing is a ton of fun. Very flexible with a mountain of options.

I particularly like how you can use both midi input and the internal sequencer to control the filter bank at the same time.

A new chord device from the people behind the brilliant Loopflip, Chord change.

https://isotonikstudios.com/product/cho ... dio-tools/

Takes a little setting up but once it's up and running it makes creating and mapping chords an absolute breeze.

It can work on multiple tracks (up to 8 ) so you can have your chords, arps, bass follow chord changes from one instance.

It uses a loop selection in arrange mode to determine the source chords and another loop selection to determine the destination.

So you can start with a triad, a simple bass pattern and chords for an arp, set the scale you want to work with and take it from there.

There are options for chord voicings (minimise movement and voice leading) and options for chords outside a scale (called passing chords)

You can also transpose from one scale to another or do modal shifts.

Really cool new multilane sequencer/arp/generator from Manifest audio.

White Horse / Isotonik Studios have released what appears to be a parody of Make Believe Studio's Good Math called Bad Math. Instead of the 'A' Hole easter egg/hidden feature it's got a 'B' hole button instead, but has the same 3 mysterious boxes of numbers that do 'something'

For me the parody falls down a little when the author himself admits: 'maybe it's worth it, maybe it's not - it's just a bit of fun' but Isotonik still charges 16 quid / 20 dollars for it !

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?
