sonicfire: yup, audiolabz doesn't exists anymore.
Klemperer: sure, dumping is just a little piece in that different project. But i am considering to release a 'lite' version with only that function.
I dont know how much time it would take, because i am moving to London and the main priority is to create a background to live

But the new site will come @ http://dampler.com and that is the new name

For what exactly do you need it?

I need it to create multisamples of some vst instruments (mainly pads from different freeware synths) so that I can use them in reason's samplers.

I could probably do that manually but it would take me soooo long !

You can do that just as easily with the Chainer demo (probably even easier). It exports soundfonts of whatever layered stuff (synths and FX) that you slap onto it.

But in its last incarnation, the VSTi->SF2 tool didn't handle loops either.
I think for now there's only SampleRobot (= expensive) handling them properly.

there is still the highlife of discodsp aviavable and it kicks ass!

id like to try out the vst-dumper but snce the site is offline i dont know where to dl.
any hints?

This doesn't work for me here. Either it's related to something with CW's VST adapter or I'm just too dumb to get behind it?!

Get the Energy XT demo, load Highlife there, sample VSTis to your hearts content.
Additional tip: Load Energy XT as the to-be-sampled VSTi in Highlife and layer multiple synths and FX. Great fun, I tell ya. And all for free.

Great, but Highlife doesn't work in my host, Sonar. Or at least it's me who's not able to get a single tone out of it :-/
