Humble Bundle is legit and since 2017, is owned by IGN Entertainment. I've bought quite a bit from them over the last 9-10 years.

1. I would assume that this is part of a marketing plan for Corel to get the word out on their products. These deals tend to generate quite a bit of cash for the vendor, even if they are almost giving away their software. Most of those that buy these bundles would not have bought their software otherwise. Also, they are supporting a few charities as part of this promotion (Room to Read and The V Foundation)
2. Yes, it is legal.
3. See point 1.

5. There doesn't appear to be any restrictions other than the fact that one of the items, CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2020, is only a 6 month subscription.

It's a really good deal and Humble Bundle a great hookup between businesses and charities. The only downside is you will get flooded with offer emails from Corel on a regular basis so once you are signed up with Corel and they've sent you keys and it's all licensed and working OK remember to unsubscribe.

This and pop ups on your desktop that promote their latest version upgrade, actually quite elusive, you think you have unticked in preferences 'dont disturb me with promotional bs' but every Corel program needs its own preferences unticked carefully. I seem to remember with one of their products even that didnt stop the hustling, I had to get into my registry to delete something.. buyer beware.

This is a good point. I purchased the Vegas Pro 14 from HB about 3 years ago, it was a great deal, but since I’ve got most irritating Vegas promo time to time to my desk.
How to edit the registry to get rid of it?

BTW - haven’t seen any Vegas Pro 16 deals on the HB - is there any, most of the deals are nowdays just games.

I'd forgotten about those little bastards. Really annoying. The only other company that does that with me is Epic Games, but at least they give away some really good games for free on a regular basis. The Corel pop ups are solely begging bowls.

Didn't find that info anywhere on the Humble page - they sometimes aren't the most honest/obvious when it comes to limitations of what they offer...
