AFAIK Groove Agent content is only usable inside Groove Agent SE or the full Groove Agent

Does anyone know if Groove Agent 5 SE content can be used with Halion Sonic SE 3? If so, how?

I have Cubase Elements 10, but I am only interested in the content that comes with it. I can use Halion Sonic SE 3 in FL Studio and use all its content. Since GA 5 SE can only be used inside Cubase (and I don't want to install it), I was wondering if I could use the GA sounds in some way.

Agree. It is a ridiculous policy, especially when you can use the product without the e-licenser.

Has anybody sold or bought Slate SSD5? The support page says that SSD4 and expansions cannot be transferred but nothing about SSD5. I'm not sure if this is old copy and SSD5 cannot be transferred as well or if it really is specific to the old version.

I just saw the Psychic Modulation sale. I like their effects which have a tape warble sound. Are these considered the best in their class, or are there other FX by other developers that I might want to look at?

It's one I had on my radar. But if you are just looking for tape warbling then there are alot of alternatives, most of which are cheaper than the sale price of say Echomelt.

For a VHS type chorus as well, if you have Reaktor there is also "VHS" which is one of the user library ensembles.

Two I like are RC-20 Retro Color by XLN Audio and Audiomatic Retro Transformer which is part of Reason Rack. Also they’re both very versatile and do a lot more than just VHS effects.

None of the Steinberg plugins need hardware e-licenser, just the software.

If you're able to install Groove Agent, I think you can copy the midi files (at least that worked for some of the expansions). Not the sounds though (unless you're willing to temporarily install Cubase and render the ones you want).

None of the Steinberg plugins need hardware e-licenser, just the software.

Yeah. Talking about Cubase family, I think only Cubase Artist and Pro have USB-eLicenser as a mandatory requirement. Plugins (Padshop, Retrologue, Groove Agent, Absolute Collection, etc.) can use software eLicenser.

If you're able to install Groove Agent, I think you can copy the midi files (at least that worked for some of the expansions). Not the sounds though (unless you're willing to temporarily install Cubase and render the ones you want).
