As the world turns
This reminds me of Irish folk music. Do you know the Pogues ? Reminds me of them.
Knife
A little too much distortion/saturation on the vocals. You're right, chorus was good, I liked it. I'm a sucker for a guitar solo so its a :tu: from me.

Hay man, thanks for the listen and the feedback. Knife was done back in my analog recording days when I didn't know what a compressor or EQ was so naturally the recording is pretty bad. I only posted it because the song itself is pretty catchy.

As for World, every once in a while I drag out the Irish. I left out the accent from this one because I didn't want it to sound too obvious. I have heard the Pogues but I'm more a Dropkick Murphy fan.

In case you're wondering why I haven't done much music lately, I've been working on a TV show that I'm going to premiere in October of 2023 called Timeshare. I will be writing a theme for it.

Here is a short promo.

9th track from my upcoming CD "Stevie W And The Vocaloids Vol 1"

The Best Is Yet To Come

When I think back to how it began
I never dreamed it could be so good
But you made all my dreams come true
Just like I knew you would

When I think back to how it began
With a smile a laugh and a tear
I could feel something special my love
Whenever I had you near

And the best is yet to come
Our hearts still beat as one
The golden years ahead
And all the things we've said
And the joy will only grow
My darling you must know
You will be the only one
Oh the best is yet to come

Who would ever have thought
That we could make it this far
But we showed them our love
Would take us oh very far

When I think back to how it began
And all the promises that we made
Never breaking one for a moment
Even when those memories fade

Repeat Chorus

wagtunes,
Feminine hygiene products? Haha. And now I segue into "The Best Is Yet To Come": nice majestic orchestral sounds. Has a musical theater vibe (good). The vocals fit the song nicely. Very nice melodies per usual. Nice song and recording! :)

Thanks for the listen and the feedback as always Aaron. Now off to check out your new tunes. Always look forward to this time of the month. Get it? LOL

wagtunes,
Bloody good joke, hahaha! Now "As The World Turns" (not a soap opera): this song has a jaunty sea journey in an ancient sailing ship vibe! I used to go sailing a lot with my father many years ago. He was typically the captain of the 15' long sailboat. I like it! It's upbeat, and the vocals work well. Instrumentally, everything sounds very good! Excellent melodies per usual. :)

Thanks Aaron. Yes, several people have said it sounds like an Irish tune. Wasn't my intention but, oh well. LOL

Very regal, I dig it.
When the data is corrupt in the Desert of the Real, Beyond the Last Thought, where intuition reigns, is the solace that will embolden and strengthen the soul, giving hope once more to this age of failing technique. eassae.com

Well, none of my songs have ever been called regal before so that's a new one. LOL.

Thank you for the kind words Eassae.

The opening bars just reminded me of royalty being announced for some reason. I always love your tracks.

10th and final track from my upcoming CD "Stevie W And The Vocaloids Vol 1."

Lyrics:

Red Hair Red Dress Red Shoes

A vision clear
Like none I've seen
You are so dear
You're like a dream

Red hair, red dress, red shoes
And then there is all the rest
Red hair, red dress, red shoes
My love for you I confess

From that first day
I laid my eyes on you
All I can say
I love the things you do

Repeat Chorus

And to think you are mine
I think of you all the time
I couldn't ask God for more
You're what I've been waiting for

Repeat Chorus
