They've made a conscious effort to get out of the constantly on sale rat race. No Black Friday sales are scheduled for them and I can't remember the last time they had a sale.phdamage wrote: Mon Nov 16, 2020 9:03 pm anyone know if Antares offers black friday/holiday sales? just curious

V Piano is definitely NOT Pianoteq. They're both physically-modeled piano plugins, but they're unrelated in any other way. IMHO Pianoteq is FAR better sounding, although V Piano is pretty decent too.

Since Soundtoys bundle and Effects Rack are back on sale, here's some stuff I wrote up in the past comparing the two:
The Effects Rack contains, in effect, all but two plugins of their full SoundToys 5 Bundle. Basically it's a rack-interface that contains 14 of their plugins. The individual plugins cannot be used outside of the rack - that's the main "gotcha" with this vs. the full SoundToys bundle. However, you can instantiate as many or as few plugins in each Rack instance as you want, so all you're really losing is some screen real estate (and the Rack can be resized several different ways so you don't necessarily lose very much). And the rack introduces some pretty neat routing and preset-management possibilities besides.
The full SoundToys 5 bundle contains 20 plugins (their site says 21, but the 21st is the Rack itself). 6 of those 20 are not in the Rack - Devil-Loc, Little MicroShift, Little Plate, Little AlterBoy, Little Radiator, Little PrimalTap. However, the Rack contains the "big" version of four of those: Devil-Loc Deluxe, MicroShift, Radiator, and PrimalTap. So really the only two SoundToys you're missing with the Effects Rack are Little AlterBoy and Little Plate, which don't have "big" versions. For the savings you're getting ($129 vs. $229 at the moment) it's a tremendously fair trade-off.

Assuming it will, and the trend says so, my guess is it will arrive right after the end of BF sale, so around 2nd week of December.waltercruz wrote: Mon Nov 16, 2020 11:56 pmany rumors about when V Collection 8 will arrive?jsp1979 wrote: Mon Nov 16, 2020 11:14 pm

As an Ozone user the upgrade comes in at around £95 at JRR.
Any news on V10?
Cheers.
