Urs wrote:Maybe it's the transpose thing... can you check if it's different when you put the master transpose to 0 or -12?
Well, that seems to be related- when I reset transposition (which had been at -12 for this preset) to 0, PolyAT functioned normally(!).
Ah... that's it then... no prob, will fix soonishly!

Sheepishly: Yes that works, thanks!!

So Urs, what is the price for the Dinosaur crossgrade? You once emailed me telling me, but I lost that email. Feel free to PM it to me. I think I want to come on board the Zebra 2 train!

I would get it while you can... Once Z2 is officially released its certainly not going to be so cheap!

Z2: I honestly can't think of a better mixture of power and usability anywhere! Hardware or software.

Hey Mike,

It's $169 pre-order discount - 50$ dinosaur crossgrade, making it a no-brainerish 119$ 8)

And have you looked at the post number?

Although, strictly speaking every number is unique... :-)

Looking (and, of course, sounding) exceptional.

Urs-

Just what is "the transpose thing" and why would it have anything to do with PolyAT?? Curious, I know absolutely nothing about programming......!?!?!?!? Thanks for looking into this!

The PolyAT is stored for Midi note numbers 0-127. The global transpose (+/- 2 octaves) seems to make the circuits grab the PolyAT for the wrong note number, unless it's set to zero. Quite simple bug, quite a beginner's mistake, quite embrassing

Ah, that makes perfect sense now, thanks! Please don't be embarrassed, I am personally quite thrilled that you go to the trouble of including PolyAT response within the software, where a lot of major software and hardware companies (Clavia/Nord, Access, Yamaha, Alesis (A6!!!), etc.) don't. Luckily my Kurz MIDIBoard seems to be quite the robust machine, now if we can only convince someone to do a PolyAT keyboard again.....!

Thanks again!
