How do I assign a pad so that it selects the track but also the device so that it has focus to control the device page knobs after pressing the button. Do I select option track select or something under device? Do I set up midi cc values or something else?
Bitwig automatically selects the previously selected device of a track when the track is selected again. So, there is no need to additionally select a device.
To navigate devices of the track you can either use the specific Device commands or the Modes (item select).
Thanks is there a flexi command to assign a button go to a specific track?
Yes, the select functions under "Track" (or the Item select functions if Track mode is active).

Im using flexi for the Digitakt. This script Im making will be useful to others. stay tuned. I may have some questions. Heres a question. Since the Digitakt has 8 separate channels of midi, how do I set up the device controls for all 8 channels or set it up so that turning the knobs changes the selected device parameters? I have 8 Bitwig tracks all set to independant midi channels 9-16. Or should I just leave everything on 1 midi channel (like 9 ?) so it doesnt interfere with the Digitakt internal drum tracks?

I have no idea about the Digitakt. I guess you need to experiment a bit.

FLEXI feature request. It would be good if we could label flexi assignments as well as suspend certain ones. Not delete them just turn them off.

It doesnt work yet. For some reason I disabled all the note input possibilities for the digitakt pads.

For flexi it would be good if we could select the send tracks

I have a problem with the Akai mini mk3 and DrivenByMoss that these endless encoder didn't work with a switch as parameter. With the default Akai mini mk3 script from Bitwig it works. Can any1 help here? The default script from Bitwig is very rudimentary here and i didn't find better one.

There is a function "Track: Toggle Trackbank". Assign it to a button to switch between normal and FX tracks.

Try to change the Knob Sensitivty (at the very end of the Generic Flexi settings).

Just got an NI M32 and I'm disappointed to realise the 'browser' stuff and knobs only work with KK. Can anyone recommend a small travel keyboard that maps better to Bitwig? Just the knobs mapping to whatever's selected would do! 32 keys plus would be a bonus! Thanks 🙏

Another idea would be to add a Launchpad Mini or an Akai Fire. Both allow you to control the browser but also much more.

Thanks! Already got a Push 2 at home, just trying to find the right portable setup.

Perhaps the Novation Launchkey Mini ? Looks like you've been able to make a really powerful integration for that one. Shame it's only 25 keys 🤷‍♂️

Another thought - I already have an Arturia Keystep 37. Can I use a generic script of some kind to get the 4 main knobs on this working with devices in Bitwig? (Didn't have any luck so far!)

Generic Flexi (part of DrivenByMoss) works with any MIDI device. See the tutorial videos on my channel and the manual.
