I am adding it now. If there is ever anything we're missing, please PM me and I'll take care of it. Also, Arturia doesn't allow us to discount automatically on the site but you can PM me for a lower price.Vortifex wrote: Sat Dec 26, 2020 2:06 pm I notice JRR Shop has the new Arturia plugins except the vocoder. Any particular reason why they might not stock one particular plugin out of the bundle? Wouldn't mind paying JRR Shop price for that.

I don't really want to start talking about the stupid thumbs again, it just causes tension, and I think the mods have generally had enough.Uncle E wrote: Mon Jan 04, 2021 12:24 amOther forums show who gave the thumbs up/thumbs down. The first benefit is there's some personal responsibility for showing your displeasure for something, the second is you can easily show your support or approval of a person or their post.an-electric-heart wrote: Fri Dec 25, 2020 2:54 am I think the "thumbs up, thumbs down" thing needs a looking at, as in; If it's going to continue to be used the way that it's currently being used, just get rid of it.
I'm expecting 16 thumbs downs for writing this.
But I'll just say: At this point I truly just think the thumbs they're useless. I think they're just there as a tool for trolls that never actually contribute to the forum with anything useful or intelligent, yet down-vote everything because they're anonymous, and it's mildly amusing for them. And again; my beef is specifically with people attempting to sabotage useful posts in the "for sale, no chat" thread... Any where else, I don't care, it's harmless.

I honestly think no one looks at the thumbs. If anything it is a joke. It is not all trolls. I have had my fun with it as well...an honestly, I disagree with hardly anything (not because I don't care, but really, I don't ha.

Soundtoys used to update quite frequently, just not in 2020. My guess is they'll be releasing another update soon due to the new Apple processor.Proteinshake wrote: Wed Dec 30, 2020 5:50 pm Not saying the plugins suck, it's their creators. Haven't updated jack in years now. They're in the same sinking boat with Soundtoys and Lexicon. Until their stuff completely breaks, they'll always find suckers during sales.

Yes, you'll receive new licenses.kintsugi wrote: Fri Jan 01, 2021 2:27 pm Kinda itching to upgrade to Izotope MPS4, solely for the new RX functionality which I really like. Anybody know if I get fresh Nimbus / R4 licenses? I sold off the ones I got on inital purchase (MPS3) but this time I'd actually keep them.
I'm guessing the answer is no, but can't hurt to ask.

From the sales thread...
Kind of tempted to bring out a "synth mute simulation" like this on April 1st.For only $14.99 (normally $94.34), get Sordina, a muted instrument emulator by LIBREWAVE!
Sordina is an instrument mute emulator. It allows you to apply a wide range of mutes to your unmuted virtual instruments or live recordings.
Sordina works by using detailed impulse responses created through the analysis of real-world recordings of muted and un-muted instruments. The results are very accurate reproductions of the genuine mutes.
If you are a brass player, you can use this plugin on your recordings and get a realistic and effective muted sound without having to go out and buy a mute for your instrument! There are presets for various instruments, such as the trumpet trombone, and french horn, as well as saxophones, tubas, flugelhorns, and more!

Not sure if people know about this, but was just watching yesterday's GEOSynths show on YouTube and it mentioned a free reverb called Giant Verb that can create absolutely massive walls of 'verb. No installer, but on Windows I just created a folder for it under where all my VSTs go and it picked everything up fine.

Most likely, the new rules mean suppliers "should" charge vat on anything upto £139 after that it's up to the person buying to pay the taxes on import or at least that's how I understand it, it seems abit of a mess at the momentramseysounds wrote: Mon Jan 04, 2021 10:17 am Plugin Alliance have stopped charging vat for UK customers.
