Oh. Wow. =O.O=
Just made the 1950s horror / science-fiction shocker soundtrack lead sound I've been trying to find. Just goes to show that a guitar amp sim can be used with inputs other than guitar sounds.
Wunnaful fun, this. Now I'm almost hoping my next project doesn't get funded for a few more days. =^_^=

AT2 is buggy on my system. It is not recognized in cubase sx3, it is in live5 (same plugin folder, the dll is in the folder but not recognized by cubase). That is bothering me since cubase is my main sequencer.
Also in some presets, bot clean and distorted the sound is stuttering while there is no apparant cpu issue.
Bugger.........

I have to get some sleep, But I have to just say I am amazed how good AT2 is, Very warm and powerful, I think AT2 has just lifted the bar, Well done IK, I was a doubter, but no longer, I have been playing for hours and enjoying every minute, If you want a good guitar modeler then AT2 is the best so far IMO, GR2 is nice but it doesn't have the warmth and depth that AT2 has, anyway I need sleep, Good night all.

I'm getting worried if AT2 will run on my computer...tq wrote:Hehehe. No way my computer is too slow. It's a Dual 2.0 G5 with 2 Gig RAM. Should be sufficient...Squids wrote: Switching presets can take longer if there is a lot in there. The cutting out of audio I have only seen happen on systems that have less powwerful CPU. For example, it doesn't happen on my G5 but I have seen it happen on a slower G4. What is your CPU speed just out of curiosity? And your Ram?Anyway, I will watch the behavior of AT2 a bit more, and if I find a consistent pattern, I will contact customer support. Anyway, thanks for answering, Squids!
Its a G4 1GHz Dual....

Gordon, d/l it but don't install it until after you have the box and the dongle and installed what was in the box.Beardedone wrote:Yeah I had better check before I use it. I can still dl it though. If you do, you won't get the dongle or physical media. Or might not -- you'd have to talk to Jason or someone at eSoundz
I think if you do otherwise, it could be trouble

Hmmm..Like I said, I'm not using logic but I have no AU problems in Live 5 and no problems at all really...putte wrote:.. oki, found the uninstaller in that downloadable update.
AU Val is still crashing, so the 2.0.1 didnt do the trick.
And the crash after quitting Logic is the same as well ..

I'm running on a g5 2.0ghz dual core with 1.5 gigs of ram, Tiger 10.4.5...still, I haven't yet tried it in Tracktion or Pro Tools...it does use more cpu in Cubase than I had expected it would but it certainly isn't terrible..
Besides...it sounds out-f**kin-standing on everything I've tried with it... This was worth the wait, at least IMHO...

Hearing the samples all over the place I noticed one thing. AT2 doesn't seem to sound that good in a mix. When I tried it myself I liked it a lot, but all the demo samples I am hearing sound poor and deprived from the "warmth" I noticed when I tested it.
Maybe it is one of these plugings that feel great and responsive when you play it, but doesn't sound that good in a mix.

Mixing is a different animal remember, any responsive and nice guitar sample needs to be worked to fit the mix.

Can someone enlighten me, please. Why is my activation code 32 digits when there is only room for 28?
IK says I've registered this serial number already. I hope I don't need a new code already!

You're right. Maybe most of us are not well versed in the mixing/mastering business.spuddle wrote:Mixing is a different animal remember, any responsive and nice guitar sample needs to be worked to fit the mix.
I would really like to hear a somewhat properly mixed and mastered sample.
You know what though? my XTLive sounds awesome in a mix without me needing to EQ or do anything special. I think it was designed to sit well in a mix, as opposed to AT2 that is meant to play as good as it can, and it is up to you to make it fit well in your mix.

Scott my friend, you are doing something wrong...scottedog wrote:Can someone enlighten me, please. Why is my activation code 32 digits when there is only room for 28?

The Activation code is for entering your license and d/l it from Syncrosoft. That is 32 digits.
Your Auth code is 28 digits...
Here's the deal... d/l the installer.
Remove any usb keys you have.
Install at2.
Put the keys back in.
Open the License Control Center.
Use the wizard to d/l a license.
Put the 32 digit activation code in and then d/l the license to whatever key you choose.
Load your sequencer. Load AT2 on a track.
Then put in the 28 digit auth code from your user d/l section.
DO NOT CHOOSE TO REGISTER ONLINE...IT IS ALREADY REGISTERED.
If you need more help.. pm me...It's a bit confusing
Play what you feel and feel what you play.
