It's a quite good sounding split-band compressor. I'm finding it particularly useful on the drum buss and, like most here, I already have a stack of compressors!
Check out their preamps as well. I'm really liking the flavour from the FD3N.

Babelson have had other plugins reviewed by Sound on Sound, which for me is a vote of legitimacy.

However, the need to disable Anti-Virus on PC and run the installer as administrator is a show stopper. Whilst having to give your iLok ID for a plug that reportedly doesn’t need it, is off putting.

BB-CMP is free for all users, but you can only get it for free for a limited time. It does not require an iLok activation purposes.

They are easy enough issues to resolve properly, like most other devs (including me). Also, there are no responses to emails but this could just be a volume issue with the offer.

So overall, I got them in the hope the dev will get better, but I haven't even downloaded them. The SoS is from August last year so they are still new.

I'm not a fan of the banner thing either, but they are not the only ones who do that (just got the Samples From Mars collection and same thing).
As for the pre, I've used it to good effect on guitar, bass (303, synth and guitar) and a touch on drums and have been happy with the results.
Yes, it's a one trick pony, but I'm finding that trick useful right now. And it's not going to replace the Kush pre's I use any time soon.

Are you asking if having the H910 would make having the Dimension D redundant? I've not tried the Arturias Dimension D but I do have the Boss Dimension C/D and the H910. They are very different. H910 covers alot of ground including some nice chorus type effects..but the Dimension D is it's own thing.
