Terrific bit of music, btw
;) thanks...

well it's an old song of mine (the drums were recorded with just two mics - a C1000s for the overheads and a SM58 for the Kick) but this leslie sound makes it sound fresh somehow... at least to my ears ;)

one of these days I'll record vocals with a better timing though

Has anyone played with the harminator at all?? the rack mount one is best, it does a great job at working out harmonies to what you playing. very impressive.

Nice ditty (the drums sound a bit too on the spot though... slightly too perfect timing - what samples did you use?)

and funny how we used it in a completely different way ;)

Thanks. The song is still on the drawing board (recorded that bit just so I would not lose the idea) :) It's a BFD kit.

I really miss recording live drums (well, a live band, actually), but I no longer have the space (living in crappy small apt), and was forced to sell my wonderfull collection of mics and outboard gear some years back. :( Maybe that's one of the reaons I really like the scope of GR2's "mic locker" and positioning options.

Real men do it with mics in a real room. ;)

I agree with you - it's better than I expected it to be. Cool. :)

I just want to say goodbye to this thread. It was fun as long as it did last... :D

The topic should now be changed to "Amplitube 2 demo supposed to be released...".

Good idea. That would guarantee we'd reach the three-century mark.

I received 2 emails in the last two days stating that the AT2 download should be posted for me to get, but it still doesn't show up in my user download area? I'm not sure what is going on...I do know that it is irratating!

It should be there. If it isn't, contact customer support. They will sort it out for you. Actually, they did so for me in a few hours.

Try NuBi's Spinner effect, it is quite good ...

Post

For a less authentic, yet still useful effect, I still quite like the MDA Leslie.

NuBi's SpinnerLE is freeware ... and better than MDA Leslie ...
