Has anybody got the problem I described regarding no songs loading in the player?

I completly agree.A good way to think about it as opposed to thinking either/or (which some may... but there's no need to since they are all plug-ins to add to your system and can co-exist).
I see the utility of owning both products. I wonder what it would give to combine the pedals from one to the amps of another. That would be an interristing test to run.

All the songs I tried in the player have successfully loaded for me so far.morelia wrote:Has anybody got the problem I described regarding no songs loading in the player?

Ok, regading the license issue: Can't you deactivate a license, a la NI?
With their products, you get an option to install their products on two machines simultaneously.
Should you ever change a machine, all it takes is to log in and deactivate the authorisation for the machine you're not using anymore. From what I know it takes a bit of time to free up the license, but overall it seems to be working fine and you never completely lose a license.

There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

Perhaps so! You guys do like it dongless right?spsati wrote:Do you think Ik has plans to release an Ampeg Svx demo Dongle-free as they did with AT2?
Thanks!

I'm tempted to buy AT2 now that it is dongleless. I'll try the demo, but I won't have the money for quite a while. Shame that it wasn't dongleless a few months back as I probably would have bought it instead of GR2.

I asked this a page or so back (not exactly this but close). Anyway, A3ntar replied that IK announced that all their plugs were going dongleless. So I'd expect a dongleless demo once that's done. Couldn't find the announcement myself (but didn't try too hard) so not sure when this might happen....spsati wrote:Do you think Ik has plans to release an Ampeg Svx demo Dongle-free as they did with AT2?

Chrisby, it was Squids who I believe announced that bit of news (don't think it was in this thread). I just checked the status of my order from Guitar Center and the IK Total Studio bundle should arrive tomorrow and I can't wait. Frankly, these dongle-less updates couldn't come quickly enough.

Ahhh, thanks, good to know the source without having to try to go back through this thread. I checked IK's site and didn't see anything about SVX specifically but will keep watching... enjoy your bundle.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote:Chrisby, it was Squids who I believe announced that bit of news (don't think it was in this thread). While browsing some forums today, I read something that hit me because when demoing AT2 demo I seemed to suspsect.
I read that the same developper(s) that worked on SimulAnalog have worked on AT2!!
Now I don't know how correct is this information, but as of now when demoing AT2 it indeed reminds me a lot of GuitarSuite. The way it reacts to volume changes and pick nuances...
Could this piece of information be true? It would explain why AT2 is so good as it is.
