Never happened before.

Who would've thought that we'd see an actual Waves deal  Finally time to upgrade my Gold bundle for M1 compatibility :ud:
I just did and it was just $47 direct from Waves, that was from Gold and one other plugin, can’t remember which. Good timing as my Gold plan ran out start of Jan ‘22.
Awesome!

Just as an FYI: I upgraded my Gold + RenMaxx for $72 earlier this year directly from Waves. Would have been nice to save some more with this unexpected deal. Nevertheless, everything is under WUP, so I already upgraded my Platinum bundle to V13.

Platinum for $99, ultimately even less, is a no-brainer. Best deal from Waves ever?

Jump on it, guys. Do check your Platinum upgrade options.

(Platinum to Horizon upgrade is still $165 (in my account). That's ridiculously expensive. It always has been. :x)

I went from Gold + RenMaxx and two freebies to Platinum for $36.99 through EveryPlugin. For that it is well worth it (despite my occasional Waves hatred lol). The upgrade price to Horizon is still ridiculous indeed. Let's hope for a discount in the future. For now I'm glad to have the majority of my stuff up to date + some new plug ins to play with

Is there reason that JJRshop dont have the Softube Echo Tapes plugin?
Thanks for asking. Sorry, Softube has stopped selling a lot of their plugins through US dealers. We now only have their Console 1 plugins, their Volume bundles, and the last remaining licenses we were able to buy from their previous US distributor.
Hi, do you happen to know why they pulled their products from US sellers?

Yes, that's an excellent deal - half to what I paid. :tu: Platinum has some nice additions and most importantly the upgrade is the cheapest way to get the plugins WUPed for a year and to update to V13 right away.

Absolutely, let's enjoy Platinum until Horizon goes for $99... Even the upgrade price of $99 and then some dealer discount would be great tbh.

i had Waves Gold, for $50 or so, then came the Gold + Renmaxx, after my WUP was expired, for round and about $18, via Waves. Gold i acquired via a reseller i guess.
Platinum is now for me $36, via Waves... mmmmh, well, perhaps...

but if you wait long enough, Gold for $50, was nothing. for instance...

EDIT: thanks for the tip! or advice! tip, is dutch..... or advice: notification................ :scared:

If I buy the Waves Platinum for 99$ (I have Diamond), will it aloow me to get a reduced price for the Upgrade Plan?

Platinum is actually a subset of Diamond, so you don't need Platinum. :) Unless I did not understand your question. Are you mixing WUP here? Diamond is V12 and you want to upgrade it to V13? What's your intention exactly?

Instead you can check your upgrade price for Horizon, which I am sure will be ridiculous.

Don't forget to use the code YNY23 when buying Platinum directly from Waves. Just in case somebody forgot.

Black Rooster "All Bundle, which includes every Black Rooster Audio plug-in we’ve released to date [except limited editions] for only $99. Don’t wait - this deal won’t be back in a long time!"

Hmm, just $4 more than their pandemic sale. Edelweiss looks a little interesting but overall I think I have all the BR I want already.

Edit: "limited editions" excluded.

Are there any "gotchas" or reasons to be selective when choosing which Waves plugins to upgrade?

Not really, but perhaps an example would help understand things better. What do you have and what do you want?

It's meant to be a general question/due diligence since I've never upgraded. Just looking to avoid any missteps. I'm considering the Platinum bundle. Their "Recommended Upgrade" is a mix of old and new plugins -- one of which I just bought last month during their BOGO sale.

Was this supposed to be Platinum, Uncle E? ;)

Difficult to imagine without knowing what exactly you are trying to avoid, but I don't think there is any catch. The Upgrades in your account are the best options for you, as it will use your existing plugins for the bundle upgrade at reduced cost. You can apply any additional vouchers/codes or get the dealer code and buy from a dealer instead to save a bit more. That's all.
