Hi Chris, Deverb and Discord owner here.
You should have a support forum on here, especially considering you support KVR financially ;)

Oh yeah..you mean the one that JMH was supposed to be doing a GUI for but never did..yeah, I remember..

A bit of hypocracy is good for the soul as well, t'would seem..

There's developers and there's developers - are you perhaps referring to the one participating in this thread too :D

That hypocracy thing goes over my head though, if it's referring to me - I don't really see the relevance.

Developers who have the gonads to respond similarly to how they're treated, that I can respect (and like I said already, I have no disrespect for Chris nor for any of his products), but that respect only goes so far (getting back to the aforementioned developer, you oughta know the story...)

Hello Everybody,

what a wonderfull morning here in Hamburg, sipping my second coffee and reading this thread while the sun shines nicely through the open window. I whish every week would start this way ...
Cheers to Chris for showing real greatness, and cheers to all jesters for the great joy they can spread.
And as a fully satisfied owner of Deverb, Discord and Ronin I whish to express that I seriously want to see more stuff of this quality level.
Someday I'll look back on all this and laugh... until they sedate me.

any chance of a complete audiodamage bundle?

HI

I will buy this in a few day's time based on the fact that:

1)I am a DUBhead and need (another) decent delay.
2)Sickle's undisputable recomendation.
3)Both the above as (3b)My Win Media player will not replay the bloomin MP3 file for some reason!?
4)I have heard enough good testimony by others to suggest it will be money well spent.
5)I would have liked a demo but I aint gonna TRIP over it - we make our choices - if we don't like it we can keep our credit cards in our pockets.

I personally am one to question things - shit, it's my perogotive - I try to do it in a way that doesn't upset people.

I said 'no demo - no buy' earlier: well I aint that pround that I can't put my hands up and say I have changed my imind.

I am getting increasingly disilussioned with KVR these days as everything seems to blow up into 'Jungle warfare' for no apparent reason.

Anyway you will get an order from me later in the week.

Flipper.

I hear ya...but what forum isnt? Even the once friendly and informative ableton forum is rapidly turning into troll central.

anyways, >>>>back to dubstation. It looks fantastic. I'll wait to see some user opinions before buying though.
Not bad meaning bad but bad meaning good

HI

Just bought DubStation and Discord!

Guess what?

I accidentaly ordered the bloody OSX versions rather than the Windows!

Hopefully the developer will be nice and swap em?

Yes, demos are nice. But if a plug doesn't have one, that dosen't mean I'm not going to buy. This is another example of how we've become spoiled-bitchy-brats. How many products have you bought where you're actually aloud to test the product out without putting any money up for it? A vaccuum? A blender? A shaver? You buy these products 'hoping' they're good products. If they turn out being shite, then you return it and get your money back. No, Mick, I guess you can't always get what you want. Audio Damage's policy is fine with me.

Compatibility and cpu-usage issues are good justifications to provide demos of a piece of software. The full refund policy is a very good thing, but the process of asking for a refund with the motive"too cpu demanding" is quite tedious when the funds have already been transfered.

HI

Just got an E-Mail with the files attached.

What a nice company :D .

So what's the verdict so far from people who have it? I checked the thread over OSXaudio and all tolled between the two threads, and judging from responses, I'd guess at least 20 or 30 people have purchased it already (not bad for being on the market only 2 days and -gasp- not having a demo).

So what say the users?

Me likey.

HI

Well having played around with Dubstation: I like!

The GUI is really cool (not that it matters) and very usable, you can get a nice variety of delays and very short mettalic fx, the KILLER bit for me is if you tap the sync button whilst having a delay going you get this wicked slowing down of the sound - it's hard to describe sounds!

Not a lot of controls but you could make plenty of your own sounds, stable in XT.
