I agree. this would be a nice little package.

peace !

HI

No Demo - No Buy.

You can't expect anyone to buy it without checking it's compatability with their Host/Hardware - there are too many variables.

Flipper.

yes

but
No Demo - No Buy.
I really do not understand why Audiodamage does not make demos of their products.
making audio demos is more frustrating than anything else, and try-before-buy works much more with me !

They also didn't make a demo of their eventide harmonizer clone.

We don't release demos of our cheaper plug-ins. We just don't do it. I've had this conversation many times both here and at OSXa, and see no real reason to go over it again.

We offer a 100% no-questions-asked refund policy in lieu of a demo. It is intrinsically the same thing, and protects us almost totally from piracy. If you have problems with the plugin, or just don't like it, all you have to do is tell us.

As for the bundle desires noted above, we don't have any plans in the near term to do this. We would consider such things if we didn't charge almost nothing for our plugins to begin with. We're by far the cheapest of the larger boutique companies already for comparable products. The only reason we can maintain these prices is that we don't do print advertising.

No, with the cheezy-looking graphics, that policy protects you from sales.

For how long? Is it 30 days?

Flipper, I can vouch both for build quality as well as pristine customer service. The only Audiodamage plug I don't have a license for is Ronin, and that's just cause I've been side-tracked.

:D

cheaper plugin... well, with 29,99$ for the ratshack, you can afford two real ones on ebay !
I don't know if it sounds the same (there is no demo !), but it is twice the price, imo... !

The fact is that i will download the demo of Ronin, because it seems pretty usefull and well -featured, and i am wondering what makes those plugins so expensive when there are so many good free delays on the place ? Is it really better sounding ? because 69 $, it is not really cheap...
For three time the price of Ronin, i think i would rather go for Reaktor and its astonishing bundle of plugins...
I don't want to criticize, your products are goods (well, seem to be), but i'm quite surprised of the high price and the no-demo attitude... (maybe you're right, your plugins rock and cheap for their value, but i won't put 69 bucks in it, even if you tell me you'll refund...)

Must... hold... on... His Flaming powers are too strong! Can't take it... must... hold... on...

Oh, f**k it. I'd like to apologize to the entire KvR readership, because, as egarrard has rightly pointed out, I'm a terrible person. It won't happen again. I'll be changed in the morning. I promise.

Seriously, though. Out of idle curiousity, what would you consider a good-looking VST? That isn't a rhetorical question. I'd actually like to know. People only usually say anything about the graphics when they're bad. When they're good, no one says anything.

I must admit graphics are good (for ROnin, the bundle...)
Dubstation is good if it is a front view, and that the 3d effect on the home page is not the same on the plugin.

It looks just like you see it at the top of the thread. That is a screenshot of the VST Windows one, in action.
